happy halloween guys!
- halloween is my favorite holiday, so of course i had to have an event for it and maybe go a bit overboard. there are two(!!!) parts to this event:

the adopts
- the adopts under this cover will all be halloween or spooky centered in some way! if that's not your vibe, we will still be doing normal adopts, so don't worry! if that is your vibe, however, you're in luck! everyone on the artist team is super excited to do this, and has some amazing ideas.
the adopts for this event will not be worrying about the rarities of traits, so here's your chance to get a rare, or even legendary, kyon that you love! i do ask that you not enter in these for the sole reason of trading them since they're rare/legendary, that kind of ruins the fun. D: everyone's got super creative, fun ideas on the artist team, so i am sure you will see a kyon you love!
additionally, you will be seeing some new traits here! ones we've brainstormed for the sole purpose of this event. these will be added to the traits list eventually, but for now i'd like them to be surprises as they release!
one final thing about the adopts: if an artist likes your entry for an adopt but decided to go with a different winner, don't worry! artists are able to hand out candies to those they choose. and if you don't get the kyon or candy, please don't feel discouraged! it would be extremely difficult to award everyone who enters, unfortunately. these will be touched a bit more on in the scavenging section below.
the scavenging
- a much longer explanation of the scavenging can be found here but i'll give a little rundown for those who are curious!
korin has been cursed by a witch kyon, and has taken on a ghostly form. she's heard whispers from other kyons about enchanted candies they've been finding around, candies the very same witch created. korin believes these candies can cure her curse, returning her to her mortal form. it is far too many for her to gather herself, however, so she needs your help retrieving these candies! in exchange for your help, she will give you myos, edits, and possibly even companions.. though there's been whispers of finding these companions in the wild.
