Name : Chéri
Personality: Chéri (or Cherry, as her non-local patrons call her) is a sweet but serious maru who takes her craft very seriously! She has a passion for baking, but especially sweet treats and has travelled across the world in the search of the perfect ingredients for her sweet treats and pastries! Now she owns a very popular patisserie where she works as the maître pâtissier. She is sweet and understanding with her staff, having taken in a small maru who took a liking to her sweet treats and offered him a role both in the kitchen and as front of house so that he could gradually get used to talking to people and no longer fear strangers! Her kindness and patience has succeeded as he is now living a life of adventure amongst pirates, and he brings her back exotic ingredients regularly from his travels for her newest creations!
What do they like/enjoy?: Chéri enjoys nothing more than creating new mixes of flavours and new sweet treats for her patrons to enjoy! She loves travelling to find new ingredients that haven't been used in baking before, journeying to far reaches of the globe in search for perfection. Since her patisserie has become more busy, this has meant that she's able to travel less and most of her ingredients are now locally grown or provided by Sacha from his travels. Her other great love is her garden where she grows a whole host of fruits, vegetables and flowers (purely for presentation, she has had to make that clear since one of her... Less bright patrons tried to eat the rose petals that topped his dessert.)

Some extra information about her little creatures: Because she is always creating new delicious recipes, she has the cutest little taste-testers who are more than happy to sample fresh flavours and give opinions. These little fellas are very good at their jobs and brilliant at predicting best-sellers (although they do have a bias towards her famous honey cakes) and if something is a hit with them, she can plan ahead to make even more and ensure that she keeps her patrons happy and well-fed!

Name: Claire
Personality: sweet and bubbly, cares deeply for her friends and is always there to cheer someone up
What do they like/enjoy?:

Claire looks over her pattern with a furrow in her brow, a couple pins held tight between her teeth as she works her paws over the fabric, a straight stitch here, an overlock stitch there. Diligently she pushes her work through the machine, stitch after stitch she puts her whole heart into her creation. Anyone who stumbles upon her in her shop can't help but stop and stare in awe at her unbreakable concentration, like a musician over a piano, a baker over a cake, a painter over their masterpiece in the making, she works. Finally her eyes close, she breathes out a held breath and lifts the piece up with her paws to reveal the coziest jacket made of plush fabric patterned with blues and whites in the shape of waves, Claire beams over her creation, her heart swells and she jumps up from her seat and spins around pulling the newly formed jacket close to her chest. Tatsunami will love this, she just knows he will and when the cold sea winds blow through his home he'll be warm.

Claire is a kind, caring marumi and a skilled seamstress. She's always looking for excuses to make gifts for her friends. Claire always chooses to make her gifts for her friends over buying things, valuing the personal touch she can give each one and is always looking to remind her friends how much she loves and appreciates them. She's often found in her shop deep in thought over her next creation or helping other marumi's find confidence in themselves. She loves to match marumis to just the right fabric or palette and will spend hours customizing a piece to fit just right. She's extremely loyal to her friends, a peacemaker in sticky situations and always the first in line to lend a paw or be that shoulder to cry on, even if maybe she doesn't always know the exact right words to say she tries her best, sometimes resorting to cracking her bad jokes just to get a little smile.
