Prompt: When Mink-fur was just a kit she started to find her love of companions her first ever companion is still with her today her snake friend. When they first met Mink-fur was a bit scared not knowing if this snake would hurt her but she watched him for a few minutes before gently pawing at him, when he didn't attack it was over for her. She quickly decided they were friends and gently picked him up she proudly showed him off to everyone and wouldn't listen when they told her to get rid of him. From then on anytime she found an animal that was too friendly she would gently paw it before bringing it home.

Fox are typically a predator of cats, and so are feared and chased out of the territory. But when FoxWhisper was an apprentice she didn't know the difference between a fox kit and a cat kit. She found the baby fox and thinking it was an abandoned kitten, she brought it back to camp. Nobody else really suspected anything amiss, probably because Fox whisper was so protective they couldn't really get close enough to tell. When it was old enough to start being noticeably not a cat, SpiderStar had to have a hard conversation with FoxWhisper. The Fox could not be a clan member, foxes are solitary, they hunt differently, live differently. FoxWhisper knew it was true, although it hurt, she had raised this kit and it felt like parting with a piece of her soul. When the fox was old enough to hunt on its own, and keep itself safe FoxWhisper let her kit go. Of course if you love something you should let it go, but if it comes back then it was meant to be. And come back it did, never for long but always enough time to have a good grooming session with its adoptive mother, where they would catch up on their lives, and news of the surrounding territories.

After finding her fox kit Fox Whisper seemed to have a talent for finding abandoned, or lost animals, and making friends with them. Although none of them seemed to fill the void of her little fox kit.

Prompt: The day Silkpaw met Katri(their snake friend) was the day they realized they had a connection with animals. Katri was their first ever non-kitty companion, and at first they were mildly scared, was this little snake a friend or a foe? But they quickly realized that the snake was just attracted to the warmth of their fur. As Katri wrapped herself around them, they stood stalk still, watching the little snake nuzzle into their fur. When Katri got completely settled into place, Silkpaw started purring, it felt oddly nice to have this small creature clinging to them.
