Prompt: When PineMist was just a kit he was dared to go outside of the camp walls and into another cats territory with there best friend, well as they were walking to find another cats territory, one of the warriors from the clan found them, and knowing that PineMist's (Pinekit) friend would be in way more trouble then pinemist himself, so he took the blame for going outside saying that he dared his friend to come with him, and even though he was always chosen to clean out the elders and queens bedding as a paw, he never regrets it

Prompt: He helped his friend Beetlebite feel more comfortable with himself. Beetlebite is the only cat in the clan with missing fur and he felt really out of place. Even with Appletufts having his own fur, he helped his friend regardless and explained it was fine and in fact the entire clan has something silly to them. Some were short, some had weird markings, some just looked weird in general. Look at Birdspirit, poor guy looked like he was ran over twenty times by a monster. The jokes Appletufts made about the others helped Beetlebite feel a bit more confident and secure. Even if some of his clanmates got mad, Appletufts was just happy seeing his buddy smile.

Prompt: well…he did do one thing for his best friend, apricotsplash, that was rather embarrassing.

but jett doesn’t regret it. after all, he’ll do anything for his friend, as will apricotsplash.

so…jett was asked by apricotsplash to help him confess to his crush, nyla. the situation was rather awkward, involving some of his clanmates watching him nervously stutter and gesture to his best friend, but it was a success! thankfully.

nyla at first was rather unimpressed, making jett feel extremely out of place and awkward. why did he agree to this again? because jett is the kind of cat to help his friends with anything. heck, if apricotsplash asked jett to help him with the elders’ bedding (even though it’s clearly an apprentice task!), or deliver flowers to nyla, jett would do it in a heartbeat!

sure, it was embarrassing for jett, but the end result was great! the two got together in the end (because it turns out nyla liked apricot back but that’s not important).

plus, apricotsplash was overjoyed, and jett loves making and seeing other cats happy.

and now he always jokes with his buddy about softclan going to have some new kits very soon…

And unaware, self-centered, senseless-” she paused, looking up at her companion, who was finishing his mouse. “Here,” she said, pushing her prey, mostly feathers and bones, over to him. He didn’t seem to mind the meager amount of meat, and immediately began tearing into it. Usually, with how big of an eater she was, she’d be finishing his meals, but like everything else today, things had been turned upside down.
xxx“Look, it’s not… it’s not that it’s bad, or anything, I just don’t understand what you see in him!” Moxie tried to meet her friend’s gaze, which wasn’t easy, since both his eyes were covered with a mop of fur. To make matters worse, he seemed very intently focused on her leftovers. “Jay, please, can you stop ignoring me?” The tom huffed and looked up, which didn’t change the dynamic much. Jay was mute, but unlike most of her clanmates, Moxie was really good at reading him.
xxxNow that she felt she had his attention, she took a deep breath. “It’s not that I hate him or anything, he’s just-” she stopped as she watched Jay’s ears twitch. He shifted uncomfortably. “Okay, okay, so maybe his personality isn’t for me, fine. But you’re so quiet and straight-to-the-point and he’s so… well he’s basically still a pampered kittypet!” The two sat in silence for a few moments. Jay’s tail flicked back and forth. After a moment he began to groomed himself as though it were just another afternoon in camp.
xxxShe sighed. “Fine, whatever, I don’t get it. That’s okay. But when are you gonna tell him?” Jay stopped mid-lick. “You- you are going to tell him, right?” He glanced at his paws as though they were suddenly very interesting. Moxie felt a grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. “Oh, come on Jay, you can’t expect me to tone down the protective best friend attitude and to play matchmaker!” He smiled sheepishly, and she sighed. “Fine, fine, I’ll talk with Genesis and see what I can do putting you two on some patrols together. But if Arthur puts one paw out of line, you better tell me!”
