She enjoys having the chance to play pranks on her fellow group members, without the risk of getting into trouble with her superiors. Such as either hiding in a pile of leaves and waiting to scare somebody passing by, sneakily dangling a spider from a stick in front of somebody's face or even going as far as to scare someone into landing in a hidden puddle of water. However, Mockingwhisper does make sure that her pranks never go too far and will often apologize if she accidentally ends up hurting someone.
She also loves watching the leaves slowly turn into various shades of yellow, orange and red. Especially when the sun's light hits them, making it look as if the forest itself was on fire. When the leaves finally fall free from the trees, Mockingwhisper often likes to try and find the most unique ones and decorate her fur and nest with them. Sometimes even giving the best ones to her friends and loved ones as gifts. She also likes to use them in her pranks, and has often scared her group members by pretending to be a leaf monster.
Another reason, is that she enjoys listening to the senior members of her group tell spooky stories. Most of the time they're light-hearted for the sake of the kits and apprentices, but sometimes they will tell stories involving the abyss dwellers. These more sinister stories happen to be Mockingwhisper's favorite, and she can often be found listening intently to the tales of those who dared to turn their backs on the innocent members of Stormfall. Although the more superstitious members of her group usually cut these stories short before they get too far. For fear of gaining the attention of those mentioned in the stories.
But there is one last reason for why she likes Halloween. It's because its one of the rare moments where she gets to spend time with the ones who saved her life all those years ago. A pack of wolves who found her as a kit and raised her as one of their own. Her family. Mockingwhisper often looks forward to her family's visits, as it gives both of them a chance to catch up and ask on how the other is doing. It also allows them a chance to strengthen their bonds with each other. Whether that be through play fighting, howling or simply cleaning each other. Most of the time though, her family's visits usually end with a hunt. While Mockingwhisper isn't as big or strong as her family, she still manages to catch something during the hunt to bring back to her group. Such as a rabbit, mouse, etc.
