It was quite a beauty! three layers of fluffy vanilla cake, coated in a marbled blue and white buttercream. It's edges had a swirling, black icing and white, round sprinkles along it, with a large fondant rose placed right on top!

magnificent cake: velvet, being a professional cake designer, usually goes overboard with her cake designs, and this one was no different. she was asked to make a wedding cake for a wedding. the customer had said it could be any design, as long as it was red velvet flavoured.

velvet seized the chance and proceeded to design a triple tier red velvet cake, with edible scarlet roses arranged perfectly around the second and third layers. the cake’s main frosting colour was a soothing, light red in colour, with extra juicy red strawberries placed on every layer. the decor on the top tier consisted of the bride and groom, an extra drizzle of strawberry syrup, sugar roses in various shades of red, arranged in a perfect arc.

of course, velvet’s definition of a perfect cake isn’t having just one colour! so she added in some vanilla frosting as well.

the finishing touch was a juicy red cherry, nestled behind the figurines of the bride and groom. others swore that they could see it shine because of all the gloss she put on it.

Cake go brrrr. I drew everything but the macarons/sparkles (it's a free brush in Medibang !!). It's a vanilla cake with cherry frosting on top, with macarons and decorative (yet edible) sparkly glitter on it, with a green wafer stuck on top ^^
