the tail up looks so cute and friendly!! I wish the standard cat lineart would have the tail up like this, cause curled down and inwards means the cat is scared, always thought that was a bit weird.

Holy moly! Yes! I have always wondered that as well. I think maybe whoever designed the original lineart didn't entirely understand cat body language. No shame in that, a lot of people don't, but it's always bugged me. I also wish they had this tail so it can look like the cats are friendly instead of upset.
