Butterbean was born in the Barn with 3 sisters. They had another name though they cant remember what it was. They've always known they were different than their sisters. The world was always louder, the hay that made their nest always made them feel ichy. One day the farmer's wife came to collect vegetables from the garden and Butterbean, curious about the cloth inside the basket she was using, climbed in and found they loved the clothes texture. They fell asleep in the basket and the farmer's wife, not noticing the kitten in the basket, covered him in Butterbeans.

Once she brought the basket into the house and began going through what she'd picked she found Butterbean looking up at her confused with a Butterbean on their head.

After that they were Butterbean and they were the farmer's Wife's favorite Barn cat.

No Name has been given many names over his long life span, but none of them felt like his name. He's never wanted to take on a name, feeling as if it was unnecessary to label himself when his mother never did. Whenever he's asked what his name is, he gives the same response as always,

Firefly’s name comes from Bringers’ beliefs that the fireflies are the souls of fallen warriors, misguided clan cats who seek remorse and past cult members. They were named that way because they were born on Summer New Moon’s eve, and one of the glowing fireflies landed on their head. It was believed it was a sign and blessing of the ancestors, them trying to suggest the newborn kitten for their path to be connected with them in the future. In their adult years, they’ve became a Priest and Ceremony Master, helping with setting the ceremonies and holidays’ celebrations up. They often dream of the past events they never experienced in person too, but the memories are too blurry for them to help Archivist with completing knowledge on the past fully. Sometimes, they even see events simply related to their lands and not necessarily Bringers, but they are a bit… traumatizing to say at least. Firefly seems not willing to talk about it and something stops them from sharing this information with anyone.
