Prompt: No, Finchflight's parents weren't kidnapped by time travelers, but he will insist it's the truth. It's one of his favorite pointless made-up stories he likes to tell. Hes a sneaky hunter, which may be why he's such a good liar. He likes to convince the other cats he meets that outlandish tales are true and embellishes the stories with ridiculous details. Its all in good fun of course, he just likes to see if people will believe crazy things if he has a good enough story.

Maple tells everyone that her parents were kidnapped by time travelers, but in reality they were picked up by a kind pair of twolegs. Being a young kit with no knowledge of the world around her, her brain convinced her that these two strange creatures had come from the future to take her parents and leave her alone. Now as a full grown cat, Maple has searched far and wide for any instance of her parents or their captors, but no cat has ever been able to fill in the gaps of her story. Most just chuckle and tell her it couldn't have happened, but Maple knows that one day she'll find the time travellers that took her family from her. Even though that never happened.

Prompt: Brackencliff snorts as you ask the question. "Time travelers? No way, I know what took my parents," he says scornfully, Those fox-dung eating twolegs are what took them... here, sit down, I'll tell you the story."

"I was a kitten. My family, we made our living in the alleyways. I'd be lying if I said it was easy. You had to fight to survive out there, tooth and claw. Of course, there was always the fear of the Takers. Big, mean twolegs that would take you away, and youd never be seen again."

He pauses, clearly shaken talking about this. He clears his throat before starting again.

"We ran into them once. Just once. It was the last time I saw my parents. A sweet, young twoleg had been to our alley the day before. The next day, as we were hunting, they appeared. It was like a nightmare. I could hear them screaming from the back from the monster. They tried to get me as well but, I managed to escape. I just remember being so scared, missing my family, not knowing how I'd survive on my own."

He stands up and shakes out his fur. He looks tired. "Okay, I think... i think that's enough for tonight. I'll be leaving."
