Jayeye looked over the gathered crowd, before inhaling deeply. "I have called you all here today for a very important reason," he proclaimed, pacing around the circle. "A very, very important reason indeed..." Crowcall hmphed, ears going back.

"Just out with it!" To which he promptly earned a gentle bap on his nose by Blossomcrown and an exasperated sigh from Emberstar.

"Very well then, I see you are all eager to hear what I have to say! I just wanted to say... you are all loved. If not by me, then by others here. But you are all loved, cherished, and wonderful cats." Crowcall made a gagging noise then.

"Brownie points? Really? You called a clan meeting to get BROWNIE POINTS?!?" Jayeye shook his head.

"No, no... you see. It is important to remember we are all loved. For when things look... bleak we remember there are those who would miss us were we to be gone. Always. Even if we do not know them or talk personally... they would miss us. That is all." Crowcall blinked, in stunned silence, before walking over.

"...You were alone, after you lost your mate, right?" At Jayeye's silence Crowcall gave him a bump on the shoulder. "Well you ain't alone either. You're stuck with us and hey... you ain't so bad yourself. Sometimes. Just... next time you call a clan meeting bring snacks okay?" Jayeye chuckled warmly, a fond but also relieved expression on his features.
