It doesn't usually snow on the beaches where Shoreclan resides. Instead, the kits usually have "sandball" fights. Cocoa's strategy is to play mean and dirty. They'll swipe sand into the other cats eyes and pretend that it didn't even happen. There have been many complaints made to Shellstar and many visits made to the medicine cats Kelpseed and Cloverflame.

Cocoaburn could hear the commotion and the excitement of the battle starting before he could see it. The excitement of the last two apprentices of the clan becoming full-fledged warriors was fresh on every cat's mind in TreeClan, and he placed a bet with Icebird that there would be some kind of celebration happening today.

And Cocoaburn was right, the ringing call of "snowball fiiiiiight!" from one of the new warriors reaching his ears from his nest in Icebird's medicine den. Cocoaburn smiled, tail twitching in anticipation as he emerged from the den and blinked into the bright snow covered camp, watching a few cats make haphazard snow walls to protect themselves from oncoming snow, laughing as they did so.

At first, Cocoaburn would sit off to the side, watching as those around him realized he wasn't a threat, wasn't participating. Slowly, he would inch closer to one of the cat's hidden behind their snow walls, a few tail lengths away, taking a quick glance around before lobbing a snowball at the closest unsuspecting cat.

"Oof!" Icebird had exclaimed, and Cocoaburn had to stifle a laugh. "Did you see where that came from?" The other cat said, looking around wildly for any breaches in his defense system.

"Oh yeah, definitely from Silverspark," Cocoaburn said innocently, nose pointing in Silverspark's direction. He waited again until Icebird had turned his back towards him, catching the white tom's pelt with snow once more. "Oh, Redivy got you from behind that time!" He exclaimed, narrowing his eyes mischeviously at Redivy, who opened her mouth in disbelief as Icebird sent a quick retaliation snowball.

Not able to contain himself anymore, Cocoaburn let out a soft laugh, and Icebird turned on him, letting loose a giant snowball that hit Cocoaburn squarely on the chest. "Hey!" The tom laughed, shaking the snow off his fur. "What was that for?"

"For being mischievous and making me think you weren't playing with us," Icebird laughed, ducking suddenly as another snowball came at him from over his wall. Cocoaburn grinned back at the tom, running to join him as a team, sending a flurry of snowballs back at the other cats.

Prompt: Since Aetherclan territory is in the snow-capped mountains, snowball fights are embarrassingly common. Daisyfall is no exception to these fights, and loves participating!! Seeing as he is younger, Daisyfall tends to act... immaturely. He will collect his snowballs on the go, throwing them hard and aiming for the chest! Sometimes he enjoys hiding before throwing the snowballs, like a sneak attack!! Daisyfall also has a deep dislike for those who try to put things in their snowballs to make them more dangerous, notably the warriors!

Prompt: snow wasn't a common sight in spiritclan - it rarely got /that/ cold, rather it just rained more in the cooler seasons. in fact, the first time the white flakes started falling, nobody would leave the tunnel until they saw fallenstar sitting outside, collecting white in his fur.
ever the enthusiast though, driftwing was the first cat out, loudly narrating to his clanmates about how cold his paws were and about how they definitely, under absolutely no circumstances should come out there. of course, his antics quickly energized his clanmates who followed him outside despite his half-hearted warnings. even fallenstar cracked a smile.
now, keep in mind, that was only step one of her plan. once all of her clanmates were comfortable with the cold powder under their feet, she tackled one of them, kicking snow up everywhere. her victim, pepperpoppy, laughed immediately and flipped her over so that her back froze instead.
the rest of the clan would follow in her lead, even the tired fallenstar pouncing on his friends. driftwing herself focused on tripping others so they got a mouthful of snow, or on scheming with the leader's junco bird to drop snow on clanmates' heads.
but it was all in good fun! after all, you could always count on her to fill the forest with laughter
