I am scared of the dark and have been since I was younger. I usually need some form of night light to venture out of my room at night. Yay, anxiety.

D is for darkness, for some the monster in the dark, or the darkness that shelters.

I'm very scared of the dark, have been since childhood. Just one of those things anxiety brain does, I'm aware there's nothing in there most of the time but brain says "What If....?!"

Ill admit I was not one that was very scared of the dark as a child or an adult. While sometimes I wondered what might make its home in the shadows, I never slept with a light on or anything!

While I was afraid of darkness as a kid, it's now comforting. Night is the best time of the day for me and also the time I enjoy taking walks outside most. Though, I do always need some kind of light, as my balance sucks and I WILL flop over if I see nothing and make the slightest wrong movement

        [ D is for darkness ]

I believe I was scared of the dark as a kid, but nowadays, I don't mind the dark at all. It can be nice, especially when you're outside, where the sky is clear and the moon is bright.

D is for Darkness

I don't remember ever being afraid of the dark. A lot of times, it can be very comforting. Being able to turn off the lights in a quiet location is one of the ways I cope with overstimulation

I was never really scared of the dark. I reasoned that if I couldnt see the danger then it cant see me, and generally Im only in the dark somewhere Im familar with so I have the advantage

I was scared of the dark as a young child, but I've ended up being much better about it as of now, even finding it comforting.

I wasn't scared of the dark originally, but then i watched a movie about aliens and it made me scared of the dark for a couple of years.
