Name: carrion ( turkey vultures are sometimes referred as Carrion crows in some countries, here is it's
definition (figured I would link it instead of saying it just in case)
Gender: male
Prompt: Observant, tedious, knowledgeable, keen, protective, quick thinking and sometimes rowdy
BonusVultures are relatively silent as they lack a syrinx so they can only hiss, growl, and snarl
Thought that was actually pretty interesting

Turkey Vulture: turkey vultures were incredibly common to see at my undergrad campus, to the point that many people considered them a nuisance (especially the administration). But I was always happy to see them gliding around in the skies, it was a calming sight to watch for me on my way to classes. They are federally protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918!

sourceOkay, technically that was an image of a Blue Jay molting, but they do look a bit like vultures in that state, no?
Here's the real vulture image. ||
sourceThe Nigerian Vulture is a comparatively handsome vulture which is currently endangered because they are being hunted, their heads and feathers used in religious rituals and they are also being consumed as a form of traditional medicine. This is because spiritually they are revered as a being which is capable of communicating with the dead and appeasing the gods, though it is believed that certain individual vultures are good while others are evil, and it's the 'evil' ones which are targeted by poachers.
