Lancelot clumsily held a pumpkin carving knife with his mouth, one paw keeping the top of the pumpkin steady as he began to cut out shapes bit by bit into the orange squash.Carving a pumpkin was no big deal, but the light would go a long way as he slowly moved the blade through it to make a cute jagged smile. The Meowth admired his work before going to carve two big, round eyes-- circles were not the easiest when you were using your mouth as the thing to hold the handle, but it’d work!

He wasn’t sure it was the most creative pumpkin, but to Lance he had put his all into it! The only thing he could really claim of ‘creativity’ was the blue flame he used to light the candle, bringing some much needed light into the dark street for Muffins.

Using their psionic abilities, Pathogen grabs tons of metal, wires, nuts, and bolts from the surrounding area. Crafting some cybernetic limbs, they stick them into the gourd. "Finally, with this squash, I'll create the ultimate lifeform! No one will stand in my way, and Halloween will be mine!" Grabbing some radioactive waste, they splash it onto the pumpkin. Suddenly, the pumpkin starts to stand up and move on its own. " You scourge pumpkin! You will obey me and steal all the candy from this wretched town!" Pathogen commanded while maniacally laughing. The pumpkin, not agreeing to these terms, dashes off. Never to be seen again. "Wait! I order you to come back! Fine." The cell pokemon grabs another pumpkin, carving a face into it. " While today was a defeat with these objects they are providing me. Victory will be in my grasp, surely. It is only a matter of time."

Memo held their pumpkin close, confusion spread across their goopy face for a while. They glanced back and forth between the pumpkins each other participant was working on and took a moment to think.. then an idea struck. With a surprising amount of ease, the purple, slightly transparent, blob cut a small hole toward the bottom back of the pumpkin and dug out the shapes it had in mind from within. After a few moments, it cut right through using some sort of move it must have seen another nearby 'mon use. The goop slid out of sed holes, filled with pumpkin guts, seeds, and the chunks it had removed to create the face.... a face that looked quite familiar. A quick glance between the pumpkin and it's creator, and it was obvious Memo had carved their own face. They proudly held the pumpkin and scooted away to show Sunnie, their boss, and maybe find a place to wash out the pumpkin that was now floating inside of their goop. Memo would certainly be smelling quiet festive for a while.

Kougra eyed her pumpkin up and down, holding a dull carving knife. “So… I need to light this place up, huh?” The little Pichu’s eyes instantly lit up, as if she had an amazing idea.

Wielding the weapon, she sliced into the pumpkin and sawed, smiling wide. Pumpkin pieces flew all over the clearing, her cuts jagged and messy. Once she was satisfied, she climbed up onto the large gourd and began to scoop out its guts and seeds. Spinning around her creation, Kougra reveals…

It’s… just an enormous jagged hole, which stretched across the entire front of the pumpkin. “I had to light up the entire town! So I made sure to make the glowy part REALLY big!” Kougra gave a toothy grin. “Oh wait, everyone else is making a pumpkin too?...”

Surfing didn't really want to carve a pumpkin at first, but when his trainer explained to him that they could eat the insides, once the pumpkin was prepared, Surfing jumped up and helped him right away ! Pulling out his claws, Surfing began digging into the pumpkin to hollow it out, then detailing shapes on the face.
Unfortunately, he hollowed out the pumpkin so quickly that the eyes and mouth weren't quite straight, and his trainer had to replace the candle base to prevent the pumpkin from catching fire. At least it was fun, and drinking pumpkin soup in front of a good horror movie is always fun.
