May I ask a dumb question? If you cross two different breeds I assume some pups may be the breed of the female and some the male or all one parent's breed? Is what breed they most look like determined in the genetics somewhere?

not a dumb question at all <3

yes, you are correct! the litter will be a combination of both breeds. the two breeds will be put into a generator and the rng will decide the breeds for puppies a/b/c/d. this means that brindle, a presa gene, can appear on other breeds if crossbred, for example. i use the rng for most things (rolling for chimera, special genes/markings, number of puppies, breed, health tests, etc) so its more chance than genetics

That makes sense and incentivizes cross breeding, at least for me! I read Ibizan hounds have colors red and white, would love to see more coats through cross breeding. Thanks acro!
