Eclipse loves his brother no matter what, he does everything he can to try and help him live the best + easiest life he can, not finding it difficult or a burden at all. He just wants to help his brother

How does he feel about his brother's Blindness?

"Don't worry, I'll find a way to understand the world how you do!"

Eon's strongest feelings about his brother's blindness are sadness and fear, a bone-deep worry that someday his brother will cut him out of his life. He knows that the other sima is upset, jealous even, that he can see and worries that this will eventually result in him being driven from his brother's life. He doesn't mean to upset his brother when he comments on the things he can see, he's just trying to share it with him in another way, so he can enjoy it too. That isn't enough though, it will never be enough. Eon has realized that such comments only do harm, and that if he really wants to help, he needs to do it in another way. If his brother cannot experience his world, then he'll learn to experience things from his brother's perspective. Nice day? He'll focus and comment on the sounds the birds are making rather than the color of the sky. Or talk about enjoying the waters in the falls when he went swimming earlier, how good the cool water felt during the midday heat. Eon wants to learn how to enjoy things and describe them in a way that his brother can both understand and experience himself, and hopes maybe someday, they can be close again.

How does he feel about his brother's Blindness?
When they were younger, Char used to get annoyed or disappointed that his brother couldn't do the same things he could. In a way Char thought his brother's blindness held him back, and held them both back, from experiencing life to the fullest. But as they've grown older the two brothers remained very close and Char realized an important lesson, although is brother couldn't experience things the same way as he did, that doesn't mean his experiences were less than. He just experienced things differently! Because of his lack of vision he was better able to focus and appreciate other sensations like sounds and feelings. This opened Char's eyes to a whole different world! Growing up Char was always the one trying to describe what he saw to his brother, but when he really listened and let his brother describe his own viewpoint, he got to see the amazing and unique experiences his brother was having. So while at times he is a bit sad he can't share all his the visually enjoyable things with his closest friend, he and his brother love doing things together and his blindness doesn't hold either of them back at all!

Zia loves his brother a lot. Even with the blindness. He tries to be there for him no matter what, even though he knows his brother sometimes envies him for not being able to see. He loves teaching him how to do things and helping him figuring out how to do things even with his disability. It absolutely fascinates him how well his other senses work. It has saved both of them from some quite tricky situations where they were snuck up upon by a Jewel Eater, or where there was an earth quake. He felt or heard it way earlier than his abled brother, making them able to escape and hide before much worse happened. So, while he feels bad that his brother doesn't get to appreciate all the beautiful crystals around and the beautiful looks of the outside when they finally escaped, he helps him cope with it to his best abilities and is always at his brother's side. Making for both beautiful and bad moments where they stand together.
