She was quite happy with her name. It was cute. But maybe something else could be fun too? Perhaps something with moth in it? Mothflower? Mothflight? Mothfern? She shifted slightly. How do the queens do it? How do they come up with a name and not feel indecisive?

Sitting quietly for a moment longer, she smiled and let out a sigh. Willowbird was good enough. Besides it was the only thing she had left of her parents.

clover, for when she would call me her lucky charm. my mentor was an older one, her mind was going but her skills were still very sharp. every time in battle she would call me her little clover, her lucky charm when she came back unscathed or better off then every one else on her patrol. though she did it all herself, no luck needed but she didn't have any kits of her own and i was her last apprentice so she grew attached to me in her old age. often calling me clover as a little nickname though i think if she had kits, one of them would have been named clover. so to me, i will always be her lucky charm. her clover.

She has had a number of named before, each with varying degrees of approval from the cat. There had been Kitty, and Baby at first, endearing and cute, but not very personal. Then had come Roo, predecessor and shortened version of her current name. She had enjoyed Roo, but ultimately her favourite was Kangaroo, for a reason that always escaped her when she tried to think of why.

Prompt: Jitter would name herself something simple, like Robin, but in the world of Ophigar, single worded names are only given to powerful deities, like Morganus or Cupine. So either she has to become immortal, or just use the excuse that it's a nickname. But why does she want this simpler name? Well, for starters, it would be MUCH easier to pronounce, instead of 'audacious.' She doesn't even know how to spell that! Another reason is robins have always seemed to follow her. Ever since she was a kit, her mother told her that robins gathered around her nest and chirped in the morning, as if singing for her to arise. This was a constant for several moons, and slowly the birds only followed the kit outside of the village. They were all shapes, sizes, and colors. At the time, her mother didn't think anything of this, but now Jitter is well known for accepting and helping ANYONE who needs her advice or time. She'll drop everything to assist a fellow cat. It's as if those robins gifted the child with generosity.
