XBlurb: Frogpaw follows along the cats from various clans across the Stars multiverse, enjoying seeing so many new faces. Upon the announcement of the activity the peach-fuzz covered apprentice bounced up and down like his name sake. The Clan of Roaring Silence relied heavily on the life giving streams and rivers that flowed throughout their territory. At the very heart of their territory, the camp sat the big and little skygracers that brought with it’s falling mist and rich waters a bounty of nutrients that drew fish into their camp.
This time of year in The Clan of Roaring Silence the warriors would push dried bramble in the stream to block fish from escaping the shallow waters. They then used more dried bramble to coral the fish in three separate areas of the clans pond, one for kits with minnows and guppy in the shallowest water near the edge, one for apprentices with larger fish that went a little deeper, and then the largest and deepest area was for warriors and was at the base of little skygracer. They would compete and through watching them Frogpaw learned that the biggest fish usually swam deep into burrows, with the winners usually having to brave the harsh crashing water above from little skygracer to come out with fish sometimes as big as them. Though it could be dangerous, only the strongest swimmers able to make it past the turbulent waters, one young and inexperienced warrior whom may have been a bit cocky was even knocked out cold and had to be rescued. The clan took water safety very seriously and so Frogpaw had begun being taught to swim before his ears were even fully open.
One thing crucial to fishing the apprentice lacked however was patience, having to take his onesie off so he wouldn’t be dragged down by the water absorption left him vulnerable to the harsh rays of the sun above, turning his pale skin pink quickly and making him squirm as he waded into the shallow water to fish. While he wanted to wait it out until he saw the perfect fish, he quickly grew too uncomfortable to bare and dived in deep with eyes closed and paws outstretched to grab whatever he could. The apprentice was confident about his choice of location, having felt out a nice sized fish den below the water, just unsure of the size of his catch until he pulled it out of the water.

"Yes it's fishing, Zahrek, look, there's some fish!" Sunshore pointed the to the shimmering shapes below the water's surface, gesturing to the shadows that flitted around in the shade of a willow tree. Their companion looked at them with a baleful, unconvinced expression in their golden eyes.
[They don't look like any fish I've ever seen..,] the pterosaur harrumphed, peering into the water, their long beak nearly skimming the surface. [And what's this tree? Everything here is so strange.]
"It's not that different! Fish are fish, just do what we always do!" Sunshore's voice was light and laughing as they clambered up to sit on the pterosaur's shoulders.
"Ready... Set... Go!"
At the signal, Zahrek lunged forward, sending Sunshore plunging into the water towards the fish with an enormous splash! Regardless of if they caught anything, hunting in this fashion was always a good time!

gecko stood at the edge of the water, carefully looking down at their reflection. water had never really been a favourite of theirs - they didn't exactly hate it, but the water back in their territory was almost always freezing cold so they had made the conscious decision to avoid it as best as possible. yet here they were standing at the waters edge, tasked with catching the biggest fish they possibly could. flexing out their paws, gecko gingerly placed one of them into the water, mildly surprised that it wasn't extremely cold. after a moment of hesitation they exhaled and stepped forward into the shallows, watching their pawsteps in order to avoid accidentally slipping into deeper water. slowly they crept further into the water, stopping once they could see the movement of fish ahead of them. gecko paused and crouched down, paw slightly raised, watching the water below them as they waited for their chance to strike.

Blurb: “Fishing eh? Haha well why not. Never been the biggest fishing kind of guy but hey I like to learn new things! Now lets see… ah there! A few fish are swimming in that direction.”
Off he trotted to his own little fishing area and began to wait for a chance to catch one.

“Yo! Fishing!” Silverwind’s eyes light up. They tiptoe-run towards the lake. “Fishies…” They gasp, stopping suddenly. Fishies don’t like pointy things.
They look at their sword, then at some nearby rope and leaves. They wrap the tip of the sword with the materials. Then they pull the visor of their helmet over their head and march down towards the lake.
Silverwind sniffed the water. Once, twice… then proceeded to trip over their own paws and land face-first into the water. (Luckily, due to their helmet, they’re ok!)

Ella sniffed the air, nose wrinkling at the muddy-water scent that hit her like a gust of wind. All other aspects of warrior life she had adjusted to quite well, but fishing--well, it's safe to say that salmon was never on the menu when she was living with her kittypet family, and thus she had never really developed a taste for the creatures. But the rest of the clan seemed to enjoy it, so that was as good of a reason as any to participate in this summer event and get better at it.
Perched precariously on a branch dangling over the water, her eyes were mirrored like glassy stones over the mirrored surface of the lake. All there was to do was wait till she saw something move...

PostBlurb:
While wading in the lucid shallows, Lionbloom takes a tumble down into the lake after slipping on a slick rock. He grumbles, spitting out water, completely unenthused about his current task. He'd much rather be dozing off or cooking up a nice hot steaming meal right about now. He won't get a lick of rest, however, as a towering rooster stomps over, kicking up sand in his wake, who the cat identifies as his familiar Hawksbeard. It crows in agitation as it takes Lionbloom by the scruff like he's a wee kit and plops him on the damp shore, pecking him every so often to show its unhappiness with how little fish he has netted.
Sighing dramatically, he shakes off all the debris from his curly fur and makes his way to the waters again as Hawksbeard settles down, digging up tiny crabs hidden in the sand dunes. Now if he could only focus, he could rake a fish's gills by his claws and fling it from the lake! He supposed he wasn't accustomed to hunting and fishing, but he was determined to find a nice fish to cook up by the end of today's camp activities.
