Prompt: Love is Blind. Axolotl has been looking for someone to love him for years and years. But due to his condition no one wants to ever deal with the baggage and draw backs on life because of the blindness. He gave up trying. Until one of his best friends tells him about this néw zebra who moved into the neighboring barn.
He tells her how beautiful she is and how she just glistens with the winter snow. He told him to try getting to know her. Axolotl did love making friends. So he decided to meet her.
One day Axolotl went over to meet her using the fence as a guide and following the sound of the hoofbeats. She comes over and gently touches his nose and glides to his eye sockets sniffing them realizing something missing. He tries to talk to her. But she never says anything back? Axolotl thinks she’s just going to turn away. But his friend comes over and noticed something strange about her. She doesn’t make any noise at all. Turns out. She’s deaf!!
Axolotl realizes he must communicate by touch. So after a couple days(poor guy) He falls in love with all the gentle touches and gestures she gives(sshhh he’s a little excited lol) . Although he doesn’t know her name. (At least not yet) He knows she loves him too. Over a month has past since they met and she leads him and directs him on safe paths. An Axolotl listens for any dangers or for when someone is calling them. They complete each other. ❤️ So finally this year. Love is not only blind, but love is also silent.

Made with her favorite flowers and ferns. On Valentines day, he aproached her from behind as she was grazing waiting for him in "Their spot". He told her "Now, don't turn around just yet, close your eyes and then turn around". She giggled and did as she was asked. He gently slipped the neck piece over her sweet face and on to her neck. She opened her eyes and looked and seen this beautiful neck piece made with Wild flowers and ferns. She wrapped her neck around him and thanked him. Ever since, the two have been unseperable. Never any judgement from one ot the other, only words of true love for each other, no matter the physical differences.
