The recently appointed leader stepped towards Azith, the wall of cats blocking her escape. Unsheathing their claws, they loudly snarled, "You dared to not only defy the orders of the gods but tarnish the Void Crowns delicate order!?" Quivering, she tried to rehearse the speech of how they had it wrong, how a god and a cat came to her in a nightmare, telling her to pluck a bad apple away from the Void Crown, but nothing came out, not even a squeak. "Very well, you will be cast in the prism cavern for 12 moons." They muttered under their breath, "however.." Inside Azith felt much relief, her trembling calming down by a little, as she didn't hear the last part.
It was then Hallowstar pounced.

Prompt: It was a deadly dance, as the two cats circled one another. One, mourning her fallen brother. The other? A leader seeking to make a point. Where one was fast, the other bore heavier claws. "Stand down Feathernose," her leader snarled. "He betrayed us... he deserved his fate."

"He could still have been an asset... or banished! This is not our way!"

"This is MY way," came the reply, as a paw raked across her face. She yowled, crimson flowing freely like tears. She was no fighter, not really. And he had many moons of experience. "Get her to the medicine cat cave," he hissed, as she struggled to right herself. "And let it be known my word is final."

The scars eventually healed... but not her heart. It served as a reminder that one day... she would right this wrong and avenge her brother.

"Before I joined LightClan, I was a feisty kit that ran away from his mom into the forest. I got lost and had to fend for myself as I couldn't retrace my steps back. I got this scar a few months into my life here in this forest. I was trying to find prey when this huge screeching hawk flew up behind me and sunk its talons into my fur. Trying to fight back, I thought I scared it off, but it came back and gave me a huge scratch right on my eye."

"Do I pride my scar? Good question. I mean, as much as I wish I could, it just brings back memories for me that I know I'll never forget. I did come out of it stronger though, and that's the sentiment that I keep telling myself and will tell my apprentices when I get one."

I originally wrote this really cool story, and right before I posted it, I didn't realize it was only a 150 word max. I had to really tone it down xD

She should hate her scar. Despise it and the cat that gave it to her, but she can't. It's the last bit of her brother she has left. After he decided to try and take half the clan to format a new one, and a large battle ensued, this is the last bit of him that she has to hold onto forever. Sure it might have been a terrible happening to her scar, but when there's nothing really left, you have to take what you get.
