For such a young cat, with such a short life, Freckle has known plenty of fear. There are the little things, of course; bumps in the night, strange noises carried on the wind - things every kit is afraid of at one point or another. Maybe his reaction was always a little exaggerated, but his mother assumed he was just the anxious type. That in itself was to be expected, when you're born and raised on the streets. When your mother, a pampered housecat from birth, suddenly has to raise four kits on her own, thrown out of the house for reasons she didn't understand. Then figuring out where she went wrong with the oldest. Then the one with the crooked tail. The one with the pretty eyes. Raising four kits turned to three, two, one, until it was just Freckle and his mother, sleeping in alleys and parks, stealing trash from garbage cans. It was normal for him to be afraid, wasn't it? He was a street cat. A runt of a stray, at that. And how could the runt expect to survive this harsh environment, when his bigger, healthier siblings had failed to do so? No, his mother hadn't been concerned. But perhaps she should have been.

    ---

The wind whipped Freckle as the beast roared past, and he shuddered, hunkering down out of sight. His heart raced in his chest, but that was normal - he couldn't recall the last time he'd felt at rest. He watched as the horrid creature zoomed into the distance, so fast he felt himself reeling just watching it. He had never liked monsters. When he was younger, though, it was different. They weren't scary for any specific reason - other than the laundry list he'd come up with in his head, of course. They were scary just because they were scary - big, hulking things, that were loud and fast, and that sprayed him with dirt and gravel as they passed, as if they didn't even see him standing there. They probably didn't - he'd been even tinier than he was now. Certainly smaller than his siblings had been. And the monsters hadn't seen them, had they?

Freckle shook his pelt out. Now wasn't the time for bitter reminiscing on creatures that didn't even know he existed. Digging his small claws into the cracks in the ground, he sturdied his still trembling shoulders, bracing himself for the mad dash that was crossing the roads. His mother had taught him to run, run as fast as he could without looking until he was on the other side. If he looked, he might freeze. And even if he wasn't fast enough... well, at least he wouldn't see it coming.

Legs shaking furiously, Freckle glanced quickly side to side, making sure no more of them were coming. He felt like he'd been standing there for ages already, waiting agonizingly for a break in the traffic - dirt and grit clung to his pelt, and he was dimly aware of one of his claws splitting - snapping off? - and the warmth that seeped into the fur on his paw. But he didn't have time to worry about that. He didn't have time to think. If he started thinking now, he would never stop thinking, and he would never get going, and get it together, Freckle, your mother needs you!

Before he could process what he was doing, Freckle was already blindly flying across the road, terror gripping his heart and moving him along faster. His claws scraped painfully as he leapt over the curb, tiny legs scrambling to stabilize himself. Unfortunately, he was still a clumsy kit, and he couldn't stop himself from launching nose first into the pole he'd run directly into. Freckle groaned, rubbing his nose with a paw and shaking the dizziness from his head. Until he realized what he'd done, which just returned the dizziness tenfold and made him sick to his stomach. He doubled over onto the pavement, heart racing, and tried to get a grip - but what had that been?! Was he insane? Cars raced past, and he was barely aware of them flinging more grit and dirt into his pelt, unaware he was there, unaware he had almost been crushed under their huge, burning paws. What would his mother have done, then? He was the only one left. She would've been all alone.

Freckle shuddered. The thought scared him terribly. But he couldn't dwell on fears, he had to go. She needed him for more than just company right now. He'd been sent out on his own for a reason, he tried to tell himself, rising shakily again to his scraped up little legs. That mouse - that stupid, scrawny little mouse. It had made her sick. And... and she was going to be fine, he just, just had to go and find her old home. Her old housefolk. They would help her, she'd promised, if he could just find them, and lead them back to her, they would take her to the place cats go when they're sick, and she would be better in no time. Maybe they would even take them both in - if they were really, really lucky. She must have been really sick, because Freckle wasn't sure he was supposed to hear the part about how one kit would appeal to them more than four - but that didn't matter right now, it doesn't matter Freckle!

He shook himself out, stubbornly trying to calm his speeding heart. All that mattered right now was finding her housefolk. Which meant he had to find the house, first. His mother had shown him more than once - she'd shown them all, at one time, he thought. But he didn't exactly know how to get there on his own, and this was pretty well his first time so far away from his mother, so deep into the city. He was horribly afraid he'd get lost. Terribly afraid he'd never find those housefolk. Really, really scared they wouldn't follow him, wouldn't take his mother to the healing place, wouldn't take them both in, they were both doomed, weren't they-!

Freckle! He growled softly, shaking his pelt out so roughly he almost through himself back into the street. And that really didn't help to quell his anxiety, so his heart began to race, and his claws sunk back into the scratches in the pavement, and he had to stand there for a good five minutes, gripping to the sidewalk, heart ramming in his ears, breath coming in sharp ragged gasps.

But he was used to that. This was by no means the first time this had happened - he was thrown into a similar spiral the first time he'd seen a bat, for example. But somehow... this felt different. The lingering dread that weighed down his little paws when he finally got moving, lingering around his steps like a whispering fog. Something really, really bad could happen this time. This was no random fear - and if he failed, there would be no more mother to comfort him.

Still, he tried to push his fears to the back of his head. Ignore him. Those feelings could be dealt with later - much later, when his mother was close by, and he could think without choking himself up for several minutes at a time. So on he trekked, wrestling with his thoughts, jumping at every Twoleg he saw strolling by, every bird fluttering into the air. He tried his hardest - he was trying so, so hard - not to freak out, not to panic each time something startled him. But each time his heart rate spiked, he couldn't help remember what was at stake, or perhaps even worse, what had happened in the past when he'd seen a monster, or a big pond, or a stupid, blue feathered bird. And he still couldn't be sure he was going the right way. Sure, that lamp post looked familiar, but didn't they all look just the same? And hadn't he just seen that trashcan? Or were all trashcans the same as well? He just didn't know anymore.

Head spinning - how long had he been walking? - Freckle finally decided he should let himself take a rest. He only had little kitten legs, after all - and every step he took used up three times more of his energy than it should have, since he was stressing himself into a tizzy. It turned out he wasn't very good at controlling his fears, or his thoughts, for that matter. Not that it should have been a surprise. When had he ever been good at controlling himself, or like, relaxing in the slightest?

That had always been Crow's specialty. She had done it for all of them, really. But Freckle was usually the only one who needed rationalization, or comforting, or just pointing out that a puddle probably isn't going to hurt any of them. He missed her. He missed them all, of course! But Crow...

    ---

"It's going to be fine, Freckle!" Crow giggled, dancing precariously along the edge of the strange, square pond their mother had taken them to. It was a hot day, and it had been pretty busy when they'd arrived. But eventually night had fallen, and all of the Twolegs had gone home, leaving the five of them to a nice, cool shelter, with a big pond of water to... just look at, really. They'd been meaning to drink from it, but it had turned out to taste very funny. And so they'd left it alone, opting instead to lounge around on the cool, hard ground. His mother, and most of his siblings, had gone to sleep ages ago, underneath a strange little platform that shielded them from the sky. But he'd been too nervous to sleep - they'd never been here before, after all, it could be dangerous - and Crow had been too antsy to settle down. She thought it was exciting - they'd never seen a real pond up close before, and she couldn't get enough of it. Freckle didn't understand why. It didn't seem very safe to him - what if someone fell in? It's not like they could drink out of it, anyway. He didn't know why she was bothering to go near it at all. It was really stressing him out.

"You're going to fall!" His voice came out as a squeak, but that was nothing unusual. Apparently not unusual enough for her to keep away from the edge, anyway.

"Aw, come on!" She teased, leaning very close to the edge, chin nearly touching the funny tasting water. "It's just a bit of water! It's like the puddles, Freckle, it's totally fi-" Crow was cut off by a splash so loud Freckle sent himself tumbling backwards with shock.

"Crow! He shrieked, loud enough to wake his family, if the splash hadn't already done that. What happened next was a bit of a blur, but he did remember more splashing, so much splashing, and his fur was wet, and his mother's fur was wet, and the ground was littered in awful little puddles, and they still smelled so strange, and there was a little black heap of fur...

Freckle shot up, breath hitching. He must have... he'd fallen asleep. He'd just fallen asleep. Forcibly pushing himself to his feet, and blinking rapidly, he tried to shake that image out of his head. That had been a long time ago... at least, a long time ago in comparison to how long he'd been alive. He barely remembered Crow, really. There were the moments he did remember, the nice memories, the big sister he could've had... but that night... he wished he could forget that night. Puddles... needless to say, he had never gotten over puddles. Just another thing to be afraid of, he supposed.

Sighing, which was at least better than gasping wildly, Freckle gave himself one more good shake before setting off, picking a random direction that looked vaguely familiar. Hopefully that wasn't just because it was the way he'd come. But there wasn't much time to fret about that, and any random guess probably had the same chance to get him where he was going. So he set back off, paw pads sorer than he thought they'd ever been, and hoped for the best.

The sun beat down harshly on his kitten fur, nearly turned grey from dirt and dust. It did nothing to help him chase the memories of the day at the pond away, but he had to keep moving. For his mother. For mother, for mother, for mother. He repeated this mantra in his head for at least three blocks - it helped keep his other thoughts out, at least - until he froze in his tracks. That house - that was the house! He'd done it, he'd really found his mother's old house! Well, stumbled across it, really, but how he got here wasn't really the important bit. It didn't matter, as long as he was here! But now came the next step.

    How was he getting inside?

Stumped for a moment, he sat on the gravelly ground by the house's side, nearly squishing his own tail in the process. His earlier fears, of rejection, of failing his mother, resurfaced, and he had to squash them down so he could think. The Twolegs hadn't wanted his mother before - how could he change their minds now? How was he supposed to even make them follow him? The monsters prowling the streets never even noticed he was there. And while Twolegs weren't exactly the same size as those huge things, they were still pretty big in comparison to him - the tiny runt kit. But he didn't really have many options here. He would just have to... try really, really hard to be noticeable. And worth following. If I can even find my way back. The thought made his heart lurch - he had no idea where he was, he was so lost - and he had to flatten his ears, and squeeze his eyes closed, and furiously lash his tail and block those thoughts out go away go away!!! to keep himself from losing his mind.

Eventually, when his heart was calmed - still too fast, but he could function at this level - he sucked in a deep breath. There was only one way he could do this, really. And if it didn't work... improvise? Unfortunately, acting was another thing he was afraid of, but there was no time to worry about that now. If he did start worrying about it, he would probably never stop, and then where would he be? Outside of this house, thinking, for the rest of his life.

Shaking his fur out - if he had to do that many more times, he was worried it might fly right out of his pelt - Freckle rose to his paws, marching right up to the Twolegs door. And he stood there for a moment. Two moments. Three moments, claws nervously etching their way through the fancy little fabric pelt sitting in front of the house. He just had to... yowl, maybe? Screech out at the top of his lungs, beg them to follow some little kitten through the city, just to find the cat they'd discarded moons ago? It sounded stupid when he thought it out like that - then again, most things he thought of did - but before he could protest himself, he was screeching and yowling louder than he wished he could say he ever had before. But when you're afraid of most everything, you tend to do a lot of screeching. Perhaps that practice had even helped his chances, because he was sure he'd only been shrieking for a couple of seconds before the door flew open, nearly hurtling him off of his tiny paws.

The Twoleg - oh gosh, they were even bigger up close, this is terrifying - looked down at him... annoyance...? written across its face. Oh dear. Without considering it, because if he considered it he'd already be halfway down the street with his tail between his legs, his paws were up on their leg, and he was mewing in his littlest, pitiful-est runt voice, "Please, help me, I need help, please!"

Of course, he knew the Twoleg wouldn't understand him. And he knew if it tried to say anything, he wouldn't understand that, either. But what else could he do?

He continued on with that for what felt like ten billion seasons, the Twoleg looking down at him without that annoyance. Well, hopefully without it, it was a bit hard to read their faces, and that face was awfully far away from him, anyways, all the way up there in the air. Twolegs were far too tall, really. What am I doing? But, eventually, the Twoleg barked out a sharp noise, and he nearly tumbled straight into their house. Another Twoleg approached, looking down at him curiously. Or at least, what looked curious on their weird, hairless, way up there faces. The second one crouched down to look at him, and he looked back with his biggest, widest eyes. He'd always been told he had his mother's eyes. Maybe that would help them? Maybe they would understand, just looking at him, that this was about her? Maybe they would remember, and regret what they did, and-

    "Hey!"

Freckle squeaked in surprise as he was hoisted into the air, tiny legs flailing and tail swishing rapidly from side to side. What were they doing?! They couldn't keep him! Not without his mother, anyway! This isn't the plan, this isn't the plan-!

But the Twoleg holding him didn't turn to go back inside their house, to trap him inside forever, away from everything and his mother. Instead, they closed the door, and turned to walk outside. Oh! Maybe they did understand! Maybe they would bring him back to his mother, and bring them both back here, and fix her, and-!

They didn't know where his mother was. A shiver ran up his spine, although he wasn't sure if that was from the fear spinning around in his head, or from the way this Twoleg was holding him with its big, strange paws. And he was so busy fretting over that, that he didn't notice where exactly this huge Twoleg was taking him - directly into his huge monster.

Freckle's heart seemed to leap out of his throat. He could not go near that thing - not near it, not in it not anywhere near it, please! Blind with terror, as he seemed to be much more these days, he began to shriek once again, but this time it was somehow even more desperate. Without even realizing it, he began scratching and biting at the Twoleg - hand, arm, face he wasn't even sure. He already knew, in some fleeting sense of clarity, that this would all be a blur later. Just like that day with Crow. Just like... just like...!

    ---

Kibble and Thorn were the best of friends. Sometimes, that made Freckle a little jealous - they would want to play with each other and not want to play with him, and often they would even play pranks on him, scaring him on purpose just for the fun of it. That got a little better after Crow was gone - they missed her as much as he did, and they tried to be gentle about frightening him - she was usually the one chewing them out for it, after all. The one calming him down.

Of course, after it got better, it only got worse. Shock faded, grief eventually faded, and the two toms were finally back to their old ways. Tussling, getting into trouble - pulling pranks on Freckle. He hated it, he really did. But no matter how he, and their mother, tried to put a stop to it, they just wouldn't listen. They never listened, in fact, not about anything.

"Don't play with your food, Kibble!" "Stop teasing your brother, Thorn!"

It was like it all flew over their heads. Or, even more likely, it was like the more they were told not to do something, the more it egged them on. It was annoying, and stupid, and inconvenient, even for the two of them a lot of the time. They went out of their ways to be stubborn and annoying, even if it was ultimately a hassle.

    Even if it was fatal.

Why would they have listened, if they never had before? Why, really, would "Quit playing in the road, you two!" have been any different from asking them to stop messing up the nest, or stop flinging mouse bones around? Maybe they should have known it was more serious. But they hadn't cared. And neither had that monster - surely it had seen them?

It must have seen them. It was much closer than Freckle had been, and Freckle had seen it all too clearly.

And he never wanted to get that close to a monster. He had taken enough close calls just today, just on this little mission, he was not getting inside one now, not right when he was this close to getting the one thing that would help his mother!

But it seemed he didn't have much choice in the matter. He was just a little kitten, after all - a runt of a kitten at that - and these Twolegs were huge. And these Twolegs didn't care that he'd watched his brothers be hit by a monster, or that his mother was poisoned right now, or that he was deathly afraid of the monster and losing his mother - they didn't even know. How could they know? They were just big, dumb Twolegs - they didn't know that they'd done this to him, or to his siblings, or to his mother. That this was entirely their fault, wasn't it? He and his siblings should have been living in that house, not falling into ponds, or wrestling in front of monsters! Maybe he wouldn't have ended up so afraid of everything if he'd grown up safe in those walls! His mother would be warm and safe and happy right now if it weren't for them!

But it didn't matter. They didn't know. And he could do nothing about it as they placed him into the monster, ignoring all of his fur sticking up on end, ignoring how he lashed his tail and waved and claws and bared his pointy little teeth. His heart was racing, as he was all too used to, but for once, his mind was oddly clear. They didn't care. There was nothing he could do. He didn't even know if it was too late for his mother already - how long had he been gone? He hadn't kept track of the days. He wasn't sure he could have if he'd wanted to, between exhaustion, confusion and terror. Had this all been pointless? Maybe it had been. Maybe he was just an idiot.

But the moment of clarity was gone in an instant, as soon as the monster jerked forward, growling so loudly it almost felt as if it had come from Freckle's own chest. He gripped whatever was left of his poor claws into the strange inside pelt of the monster just before it launched forward, nearly sending him flying off the pelt and into the Twolegs in front of him. It kept, growling, growling, growling, the sound all around him and inside him at once, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was the last thing Kibble and Thorn had heard that day on the road. Maybe they hadn't heard anything at all - he kind of preferred to think of it that way.

Wherever these Twolegs were taking him - or wherever the monster was taking them - it felt like a dizzyingly long time. The growling was hurting his head, and the monster lurching back and forth, while moving so, so fast, was making him feel sicker than he ever had. And up through the clear part of the monster, as though it had taken water and solidified it - maybe as underwater camoflauge? - he could see the world whirling past at sickening speeds. Freckle didn't think anything should be allowed to move this quickly. And if it was, he would at least prefer to be very far away from it, not directly inside of it. By the time the monster finally stopped moving, and the Twolegs began opening up its hard, shiny pelt, Freckle was sure he was just going to pass out inside of it and be done for.

But he managed to stay awake when the Twolegs came around to pull him out, holding him more gently than they had been before - maybe that had been partially his fault, then - and carrying him out into the open. He wanted to struggle again, wanted to bite and scratch and hiss and lash his little tail - but he just didn't have the energy. He felt so sick, and he was so tired from walking for so long... and fighting them wouldn't do him any good, anyway. It hadn't helped even a little bit before. And so he just laid plainly still as the Twolegs walked quickly - not as quickly as the monster, mind you, but still fast enough to bring back Freckle's dizzy headache - through the giant monster nesting area until they reached another building, bringing him inside.

Freckle wasn't sure which was better. His mother had brought him through many of those resting areas before, telling him that it was where monsters went to nap. She said they got as tired as we did when they were on long journeys, and that it was safe to pass through as long as you were extra careful, and looked out for the signs that one was waking up - signs like growling. Freckle had never liked passing through them, but his mother had never been very afraid of monsters, at least not before the Kibble and Thorn incident. But before that - she was only afraid when they were racing past, and she had to get four, three, one little kit across the roads. Maybe she had gone inside that monster he'd just ridden in - it was very likely that she had, actually. He wished he'd thought of that a few moments ago. It would have been a bit comforting.

But as much as he hated monsters, and their resting places, he thought he might hate being inside of this building even more. It felt strange. The walls were a too bright colour, and the lights reflecting them were too bright on their own - he had to blink over and over just to adjust to them, just to see where these Twolegs were taking him. And when he was done blinking, he still wasn't sure - it didn't look anything like how he'd expected the inside of buildings to look. His mother had described her home as warm and comfortable and loving - and even the tiny glimpse he'd gotten of it earlier today had looked much different than this. This felt more like the area around the pond... sleek like too smooth stones, and very bright. It made his fur prickle - this place was unsettling him enough as it was, without reminding him of places he'd rather forget. Why had he done this? Why had he come to these Twolegs? Why did he ever think he could trust them to help him when they had already betrayed his mother's trust once before?

Now he just felt foolish. Like the biggest idiot in the world, even.

They sat there for a while, Freckle and the Twolegs. Freckle had no idea how long it was. His sense of time was completely scrambled, from the strange light to his sickness, so it may have been anywhere from just a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. But eventually the Twolegs rose, and Freckle was brought into the air with them. They approached another Twoleg, who was sitting beside some kind of barrier. Freckle's heart sped up slightly - are they talking about me? - and his tail twitched anxiously, but he was honestly too exhausted to even muster up too much fear at this point. And besides, most of his worst fears had already come true today, if they hadn't already come true before that - what did he even have to be afraid of anymore?

Losing your mother. Never seeing her again. A small voice at the back of his head whispered. And it was true, and the voice was absolutely right - that was probably his worst fear in the world. But there was nothing he could do about it right now, and he was so tired. So he just half heartedly gave his head a shake, trying to push the thought to the back of his mind.

To his surprise, the Twolegs - his mother's housefolk, who had kicked her out so long ago - handed him over to the Twoleg sitting behind the barrier. Why was he surprised, if they hadn't wanted his mother, who had lived with him for so long? Why would they want him, some random kitten off the street, if they couldn't possibly know that their old, beloved cat was his mother?

He wasn't sure. He had no reason to be surprised, no reason to even care about those Twolegs, really. They had ruined his life before it had even begun. But still, as they walked out of the building, he couldn't help but let out a mewl of grief. They abandoned him. They did it again, just like they had his mother.

The Twoleg holding him now gave him a quick ruffle over the head, before carrying him out of the room and into a new one. And this new one - he didn't like it at all. It was full of other cats, chatting, meowing, hissing, scratching at bars - why were they in cages?

But before he could even process that question, before he could even think to process it, he was already being placed inside one himself. And as he watched the Twoleg who had put him there - locked him up and closed the door - there was only one thought running through his mind. His worst fear, above all of his many, many, many other fears had come true.

Freckle was never going to see his mother again.

Her proudest moment was her fist prey!

She have been practicing even when she was realy young, she loves to puce on her den mate, even tho some times she pouce whiteout asking :)

She also likes going out exploring! She usuly went to the stream near by to watch the little fishy swims... She realy hope she can catch one for her clan.

At the time she is a warrior she rushed to the stream, whith every thing she got, every time she practice, finaly she got a fish! The fish slaped her on the face trying to get away... But petalpaw gives no mercy to the fish....

She felt proud for bringing such a catch! The fish was preaty big too... Until it was eaten that is.

Cheesekits favorite moment is when they join the clan they ended up making really good friends and meeting the leader. The leader was very nice and them can they really enjoy that meeting the leader and then they went to the nursery and they met all the queens and may a couple really nice friends and after a night or two cheesekit went off and check approved friends that they were pretty and they wanted Outcast because they join your clan and they kept trying to prove himself until finally the cats were booming and told them to go outside the camp and catch some prey.
Cheesekit went outside of the territory and they ran into a bunch of bad cats and they ended up fighting them and they ended up running back into the territory in the back half of the motor and they want to bring about it anymore they decided to try to catch the prey but they ended up getting lost and couldn't catch anything. she's kid ended up not being able to find a way back wandering all territory wondering where they were and then they stopped by the water but then the water didn't show them where they were then Cheesekit just slept there for a while and then I ended up in the morning going towards the trees after their long nap dreaming about catching a mouse and proving they were worthy to their bullies. Cheesekits mind raced in the dream. They felt so proud of themself for catching something! Of course this was a dream though, their reality was a mess.
CheeseKit tried to find a way back. Cheesekit tried to jump into the water without a clue on how to get back; it just got them most lost. So they tried to swim out but then they stopped and noticed they were at a dead end, up pulling out of the water they looked to see they were out of the territory again. they jumped back in the water but then got more lost. They were finally able to get to land again and that made them feel really good but then they noticed they were gone from where they remembered. They have been missing for like a day of the Moon which that's not good. The Clan is going to be wondering where they were. Cheesekit wanted to free up as best they could because they didn't want to wait for the Clan but then she can't remember the place of the clearing. They remembered the clan probably didn't care about them that much because they had just found them. She didn't know them that much and didn't really take that other potential and of course the clan was really worried and was really scared for the poor cheesekit.
Cheesekit kick trying to find their way back home but then they always kept on getting more and more lost finally they tried to make some things out of the stuff they were able to see. If that would help them find their way back then they might be ok! They tried to make something to grab the clear attention of the clan but of course that ended up falling apart because they're just a kid. Cheesekit could try their best to do everything they could to make sure the clan wasn't worried about them but of course she couldn't seem to work the clan would be worried about them and then after a while they just started giving up trying leaving out all of their tools stuffing made trying to help which made the clan confused once it came up on them.
The bullies ended up feeling really horrible, it had been two moons since Cheesekit was lost. To get this appeared nearly onto Two Moons which for MistClan was very much worrying because all of a sudden they just found this kit and the kit just went missing which was scary for them. And worrying about this poor kit they had nothing to do with was time consuming. Cheesekit ended up sniffing for them but then it ended up raining during one of the days but couldn't actually pick up her scent anymore. When she's cute with her outside while it was raining the got really cold and they were really shivery and they just wanted to get back to the clan and they didn't want to prove theirself anymore cuz it didn't seem worth it anymore.
Cheesekit curled up nervously on the ground when it was raining out and went to sleep again because they were so done with the day and they didn't want to keep going but they couldn't find their way back because it was raining. The clan would have no chance of finding them again until they simply appeared which would have been a while from now because she's could have been away for so long. Cheesekit ended up wandering into the forest in the way of the forest Kingdom which was weird for them by alot because they just found a random kit wandering around so they ended up leaving the kits alone secretly guiding Cheesekit out just trying to help them out but then she's good just got more lost cuz they thought they knew there was back on the clan Center but didn't anymore because of the rain and the clans on the other side of the territory so she's it was just lost there it's stuck there for a while since Cheesekit tried to run and find their way back but they ended up running off of the territory again probably more trouble cuz it was still warm if we transferred out of the territory in the ended up actually running out of it this time.
Cheesekit tried to find their way back and they tried to run as quickly as they could with the wrestling therefore and they were running and running and running running running running running as fast as I could and then ended up tripping on something. it ended up being one of their tools so that meant they went in circles! Cheesekit couldn’t figure out if that was a good thing or not! Maybe that meant they were closer to camp? they must have we must know their way back but that also meant she was sick and injured for the trip but that really was not good, that impaired her ability to go back home! Cheesekit simply just lied down for the day and tried to find them some later time so she could curve for herself and tried her best to find her way back home the next day.
You can't walk up in there! Cheesekit told themself firmly before they awoke from their dream. Finally smiling with joy for the cats. But then Cheesekit remembered that they had to go catch their prey or Else the other cats may believe the bullies more than them! then Cheesekit got lost and then they got the clan so worried about them just because they got lost! but it was really their fault but they didn't know that's what they just kept trying to go go and go and go so I kept running list I'm hoping the clan wouldn't finals that the clan wouldn't be too able to take them back home because if they take them back home then I list them getting actually catch the prey.
Cheesekit up actually running back to the water hoping that there they could find some fish to catch but they weren't able to find anything because of course the Water Kingdom was down there so they were making finding fish harder . Cheesekit ended up trying to run to find a way back to Camp. Their Mind completely whirling with ideas and memories and thoughts and they didn't know what to think at this point should I run back to camp and tell everybody that I’m okay or should I try to catch the prey? They knew either way they would be in trouble so they just decided to try and catch the parade because that seemed like it was more with at least they were going to be bringing you something to a clear in the set of just coming back and wasting all of their resources.
Cheesekit ended up running back to around the place of the camp, this time not so lost but they still didn't really know their way back they tried to catch some prey they tried stopping it but of course they're happy disappointment poor little kid pause and sick body in the injured body that they weren't able to catch the prey so and they decided and you should try a new tactic so they try to sneak up on it from the book and then pounce on it but they ended up just rolling rolling create far so then he tried to catch a mouse in the numbered on a squirrel that didn't go well.
Cheese kit kept rolling down the hill and finally they were able to find something so I try to pass on this bird that was on the ground and they thought maybe they would be able to catch this ain't no. Didn't go quite well for them so they kept trying and trying and trying and trying but still so didn't go well but the bird with pattern is blown away by the time they had found another one and another one and then another bird but this had all gone to nothing so she's kid ended up trying to find something else to catch Barrier Reef. Cheesekit looked around their mind was bustling, their mind felt like chaos. Cheesekit left around frantic wondering where they could go they could do they needed to catches prey to prove himself what's the clan was going to get mad at them and they didn't want to Grey and last but not least they didn't want to get picked on anymore and that would have been horrible for them because they don't want to get picked on they had already lived alone by myself for so long they didn't want to have to do that again just because other cats were telling their friends but things about them and things nobody should be saying about another cat because those things are bad and those things should never be said in general no matter cat or two leg.
She said it looked around frantically maybe they could catch something else other than pray the police and never specified whether they wanted them to catch prey or something else entirely 4 I've had her something else floating maybe that would make the bully satisfied with them but they didn't really think it would because that would be saying a lot about them. They have very low standards and they would let anything pass and cheese kid at this point knew they wouldn't hinge that was disappointing because that would have given them so many options but of course options, with harder options to come with harder choices that often don't really work well together.
The sun was starting to fall asleep early like a feather falling way over a hill falling from a bird once flew. Cheesekit kept looking around hoping they could actually finally catch something for this any of this they really really didn't want to have to be out here until they were like Apprentice age or Warrior age because that would be horrible for them and what if misspelling got mad at them or the leader got mad at them because they couldn't find them and they were so worried and they were so scared for them she's supposed to the thoughts for a moment the girlfriend that came this is going to be fine don't overthink things like that you do this and then you spiral and then things get harder if you're sick you're hurt we can't fix that for right now what you can do is you can try and find some prey highlight you can go back to the clan and nobody will be upset at you anymore.
Cheesecake looked up watch a sunset they know they were oversimplifying things nothing could ever go that smoothly and of course everybody would still be upset of them but they know that simplifying thing was the only way they could actually still do things because when they overthink things and mine gets too cluttered and meaning they won't actually focus on the things I need to focus on which impairs their ability to do stuff in general and there's two options right now or either go back to the clan and have them be mad at them but he able to feel better and not be sick anymore or there auction that they wanted to pursue catch prey and then still have to plan B upset at them but catching prey might take longer and they weren't feeling well but if I called pray that things would go better and these two or three moons would the whole life in the clan and they wouldn't have to worry about getting bullied or having other cats be upset about not having friends and having friends with important to them living alone for a long long time and let's be honest, most people think that they'd rather have friends and be alone for that long and live up to their older life and still have no friends that was with you or those stories guided you over the friend that you did everything with what's the point when you don't have that friend.
Cheesecake paused and maybe I should just go and have a little rest maybe that will help me clean my thoughts cheesecake told them self they decided to go curl up in a pile of leaves in the grass and stuff that they formed for them self so much earlier ago hoping that the nest wouldn't last as long as it had hopefully that would refresh their mind and then that would then they would be able to get back to the amazing and loved that idea cut a key I gave them hope and they liked help in my situation cuz hope keep them a better chance at being able to find a way back and finding their way back and catching their prey and how long right now and when something would you like to come insert help about it that means you're passionate about it and that means they won't give up on what they want to do and for something that's great but in this situation it really wasn't because they were sick and that's not good could be sick and not wanting to get help just because of what some cats said to them pictures wanted to prove themselves that was it that was all why did it matter so much tell them they didn't even know all they knew that if they went back now they would come back with nothing and what if Miss plan forgot about them and didn't really care about them anymore and stop would mean that whole thing with list and actually did 4 more bad than it did good but try to convince themselves that that's not the case it's going to be okay if you fine don't think it and we're not going to have any issues about this.
Maybe if I just stop thinking about it and if we can up and it was all a dream had an amazing dream they had a dream that they had my back to his clan and everybody honoured them and their new main they've just became a warrior and a new name is cheesecake fattening just sounded cool above them and they wanted a cool name maybe it wasn't anything like he's clar cheese to speak but that was okay with them they didn't need a big fancy name but it was a dream so can't hold on to that one for long she's kept biting himself this wasn't really worth it but all was it would have ended up forgetting about them and you wanted this weird it and it'll bring back some crazy I mean sure they wouldn't argue about it but it would still be confused and that's not really your best to chew a shin to be in when you go back to your clan you saw it with your home but you only actually lived in the this set home 4 3 days before the whole clan started what it felt like rebelling against you but evening Chiefs cheese gets mines they knew that wasn't the case and they knew they were still overthinking and that was their only issue stop overthinking things she's kit it's fine you're not going to become a warrior soon as you get back but you'll just get back and maybe table remember you but I'm sure they won't just abandon you Chief get told them self hopefully.
Cheesecake took a brass air and watch the sunrise but millions of colours waving through the window as if they were waving at trees cut themself they knew they were but a special experience through all of this trouble and all of their hardship and cheesecake felt new energy for the day can paused and looked up things to start think starclan for any hope they had given them maybe maybe today will be better maybe today either would finally catch their prey and I finally go back and hopefully every cat won't remember them and they would stop their friends and they would have that friend for life but they had always wanted they had always wanted you as a friend any friend that would just be with them for their whole life they didn't care whom but it had always been something they dreamed of just that one cat that would be with them through thick and thin and tough times and easy times but they would also be there for that cat and hopefully they would go back and they were just fine without one person they wanted to see end that would be okay with them if they didn't and that would be fine that's okay baby. Didn't happen that's still okay with them and sometimes you can't have what you want maybe today wasn't their day maybe they wouldn't find their prey maybe they wouldn't find a way back maybe Miss Clan wouldn't remember them and that's what they were worried about and they started over-thinking again.
Maybe things will get better but you could overthinking things again take a breath instincts think about what you're saying. it would get better today they were confident about it and that's what really mattered to them they were confident that truly would have to happen and that surely would work out and that would be amazing. You took in a deep breath and look around or even maybe a figure of anything a tree cat official bird squirrel in my house a fox this place they would take a fall when we were just a kid who is sick and injured people take a fox that was saying a lot about their situation right now surely surely this would have to work out Shirley .
She's kept talking about deep looking around hoping something would work out for today but of course it wouldn't so they kept on walking and walking walking and they hope to see some cats someone that would try and help them that would maybe maybe have an influencer font that situation they were in right now maybe possibly this wouldn't turn out horrible and you would actually have some work today at this point you could have given up on trying to catch their prey if they could that would be amazing but their first priority was just getting back they have an amazing story to tell ebony I'm at her because What mattered I'm getting back lovely safe and then being healthy and then being okay and they didn't care if Miss Clan remember them or not just mattered if I'm the big Got Back.
Cheesecake took a deep breath and looked around this part of the figure of a cat maybe this would be the cat help me to help me get out of the situation maybe they would be able to guide me back to miss clam this point she could didn't even know how they remember him but when they remember something and they had good friends and stuck with them for as long as I could they lived alone for so long that they just wanted to have a good friend a close friend and Scott with all they wanted anything anything they could get like that would be amazing.
She's get polished and I looked around and they saw a figure a cat that white white no no no no no way would that be somebody searching for them it was just a hunting party but that meant they had a chance to get back and that would be a lot after these two or three moons cheese could have lost track at this point they would be able to get back to where they've been wanting to get back maybe they didn't catch the prey but maybe the Clan had forgotten about them and that would be amazing maybe the Warriors would be able to bring her back from here and maybe they would be safe again.
Cheesekit paused and looked around the figure seemed to be getting closer, but so did another smaller figure! Wait..that looked like a mouse! And the warrior hadn’t seen the mouse yet! Maybe this was their chance to shine! Show off that they could catch prey! Cheesekit smiled a huge kitty grin and crouched to the ground. They had learned to stalk at this point from living on their own for so long. They just needed to catch this little bit of prey and then they would be able to prove to the whole clan that they were worthy!
Cheesekit lowered themself to the ground, their fur out and their legs out, they looked to be flat to the ground during this stalk. This was the best crouch they had ever done, if you had not been looking you would step of Cheesekit! And Cheesekit may be on the shorter side but not that short! Cheesekits eyes were locked on target. This would work out really well if they pounce was done just at the right time!
Cheesekit launched off their hind paws. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. Cheesekit felt a leaf fall on their head, they heard tweeting of the birds. They listened to the branches rustle and shake under the slow breath of the wind. Cheesekit took a breath in the air, a quiet one so it wouldn’t warn the mouse. Not like the mouse could get away in time anyways! They look in a deep breath, their heart pounding. Their head acheing, their would pusing with pain. But they never unfocused off the mouse.
Cheesekits heart was racing at 100 miles an hour. They were shaking. This was finally the time! They were finally going to be able to prove themself to the clan! To their bullies! Cheesekit was shaking, hoping deep down they would finally catch this mouse. Then the warrior could take them back and they would feel so much better about the fact the clan might, at a slim chance, know she wasn’t just there to cause trouble!
They were shaking under their small pelt. This would be perfect! Please land this correctly, you can prove yourself now Cheesekit! You got this! Cheesekit thought to themself hopefully. You got this Cheesekit, stay focused on the prey! You got this…! Cheesekit kept telling themself. After when felt like a hundred moons Cheesekit’s paw finally touched the ground. Finally. Cheesekit looked under their paws hoping to StarClan that they had caught the prey. Please oh please StarClan, tell me I caught the prey! Please! I’m begging you! Cheesekit opened their eyes and paused, their heart was pounding out of their chest and they were shaking terribly. Cheesekit took in a deep, wobbly breath “I…..I caught the mouse…” Cheesekit told themself not believing it at first. “I..I caught the mouse?” Cheesekit paused nervously. This had to be some kind of foul dream they were having! Surely they would wake up right away! But...they didn’t?
Cheesekit looked around, suddenly it sunk in to them that yes, they had caught the mouse! “I..I caught the mouse!!!” Cheesekit squealed out loud. The birds cawed at the noise the kit had made, disturbing their bird meeting. Cheesekit felt her heart pound fast. She had finally done what she left to do! It had taken 3 moons but they still did it! Finally! They caught the prey! They could prove themself that they were worthy! That they wern’t just some kit who was there to cause trouble to the clan! That little, itty bitty Cheesekit could help the clan!
They smiled to themself, sitting down. Oh my ever good loving StarClan.. They finally did it! Cheesekit felt like it would never happen but they did it! Now the clan would find them worthy! They grinned a huge, goofy kit sized grin. The only thing Cheesekit felt right now was pure joy. After getting lost in the river, twice to put it exact, getting lost in the forest for that to only make them more lost, after sleeping in the rain causing the young kit to get sick during the middle of their journey. After getting injured from their own little contraption tool things they thought would help them out a lot more than they did.
The kit wagged their tail happily. This was a great day! An amazing day! The best day of their life! For now, Cheesekit told themself firmly. Cheesekit took in a deep breath and then let it out. All their pain and dizziness finally came back to them. Their heart still racing. Cheesekit sighed. Their headache was back and their injured leg finally hurt again after the huge, huge rush of adrenaline.
Cheesekit layed down as tired as any cat could have ever been. It felt like the life had been sucked out of them. Cheesekit mumbled to themself. The cat would come and find them and bring them back to the clan. Cheesekit reassured themself. They just needed a good chance to just take in what happened. It was a big moment for them! Their first actual caught prey! That was amazing! Cheesekit rolled onto their back tired. They looked up at the sky and thanked StarClan for the prey they were able to catch to prove themselves. Cheesekit giggled to themself wondering if the only reason StarClan gave them that mouse was because they were tired of seeing Cheesekit struggling and only making stuff harder and harder for themself. Maybe that was the case but that didn’t make Cheesekit feel any less proud about what they had just done!
What Cheesekit had just done was so,so huge for a kit to do at only 4 moons old! Of course they had been working on their pouncing and crouching for, what felt like forever for Cheesekit, Catching the prey was different! It felt amazing to catch the prey and know they were worthy in the clan! Even at the smallest possible slimeset they still let Cheesekit stay. Cheesekit smiled to themself thoughtfully. Today was the day Cheesekit knew their life was gonna change!
Finally after what felt like a moon the warrior spotted them. They looked shocked but also seemed to remember the small starving kit from when they first left on their journey. “There you are! You poor little scrap!” The warrior mewed concerned. Cheesekit was still holding their mouse proudly in their mouth. They made the warrior smile with that one, “Lets bring you back to poor little thing, Well done with the prey” The warrior praised the kit smiling.
Cheesekit nodded as the warrior picked them up while they still held tightly onto their prey. “Well done dear, little one, we have been looking for you for three moons, The whole entire Clan will be glad to see that you are finally back and safe” Cheesekit nodded to the warrior as they spoke soft and kind words to the kit.
The warrior brought the small cheesekit back to the clan, announcing who they found laying on the ground with a mouse in their mouth. Cheesekit smiled a goofy smile. Still in pain and wanting to get some help, but still proud none the less! Cheesekit held her mouse tightly in their jaws as the warrior passed them off to the medicine cat. “Thank you Smokewing, for finally finding the little scrap of a kit” The medicine cat dipped their head. So Smokewing is their name? Thats a really pretty name! Cheesekit thought to themself smiling happily. Maybe I’ll have as cool of a warrior name as Smokewing does when I get to become a warrior! Cheesekit smiled to themself at this thought. The thought of becoming a warrior had always made them smile.
Cheesekit looked at the medicine cat as the took her from Smokewing. “Hello dearest little kit, I am going to help you ok?” The medicine cat asked the kit with a soft, loving and kind tone of voice. Cheesekit nodded softly to the medicine cat “My name is Bud, dear, what is your name?” Bud asked the kit, hoping to get them talking. Oooo Bud! A really pretty name! Cheesekit thought happily. After Bud set Cheesekit down on a nest in the medicine cat den Cheesekit set down their mouse “My names Cheesekit!” The kit chirped happily and started telling them all about her journey.
