As the child progressed up to Warrior, she found a fondness for the crisp crunch of leaves under paw. All the cats in LagoonClan smiled as she raved on and on about the smell, the colors, and the way they fall to the ground. And, to her delight, she was given the name Hazelcrisp when she became a Warrior. It was a reminder that she brought with her everywhere.

roach is a rude, crass male, so it only makes sense that his name reflect his lack of verbal eloquence. But where he lacks in fancy speech he makes up for in raw survival skills, living in the ruins of the two-leg town, foraging for food among (ironically) the roaches, isn't exactly an easy job for a cat with no desire to join the neighboring elmclan. He's knowledgeable about practically everything east side of the mountain, and was dubbed roachdust so that he could become an honorary member of elmclan whenever he desires. Not that he would ever desire that.
