Prompt: The morning patrol had just come back to camp with a report - a massive gathering of humans had been spotted in the western part of the forest. Leadership made it clear that cats who were heading outside of camp today were to stay clear of any humans and to avoid that part of the forest until further notice. The afternoon patrol was called, and Chamomileheart was chosen for the group. The patrol leader reminded them all of the possible dangers of people and to avoid that area. However, Chamomileheart had always been to curious and nosey for her own good and, at the first chance she got, headed straight to the human gathering.
Watching from a nearby tree, Chamomileheart observed the strange gathering of people. There were flowers everywhere, and everyone was sitting down in fancy chairs. Suddenly there was music, everyone stood up, and a human dressed all in white adorned by a flower crown appeared. The she-cat watched with wonder as they walked past all of the others and stood in front of everyone alongside someone else. Chamomileheart had absolutely no idea what was going on, but it made her heart race as she watched the two humans talk to each other and exchange something. Suddenly there was a lot of cheering, startling Chamomileheart, and causing her to jump out of the tree and flee. Her mind racing with curiosity and a little fear, the she-cat raced off to go rejoin her patrol.
Unable to sleep that night, Chamomileheart snuck out of camp and went to go see if the humans were still gathering. When she arrived, the spot where there had been people was now empty. All that remained now were flowers and petals on the forest floor. However, just as she was about to leave, the she-cat noticed something in the grass. Upon closer inspection, she gasped as she found the beautiful flower crown that had been atop the important human's head earlier. Why had they left this? Chamomileheart immediately claimed it for herself. Unfortunately it was a little too big to go upon her own head, but the crown made a lovely collar. Pleased with her find, the she-cat returned home to a clan full of confused cats. Although she got a stern talking to for disobeying orders, Chamomileheart was allowed to keep her find. She says it makes her feel absolutely regal.
