Though xe was born and grew up in the Clan, Sassafras doesn’t really want a suffix. Xe says it’s too complicated and began calling xerself Sassafras (it sounded cool) instead of what was xer original name, Brightkit/paw. Eventually it stuck and Turtlestar doesn’t really mind.
Sassafras does have a tendency to go off on adventures while supposed to be on a hunting patrol, but it’s usually always for the good of the Clan... or maybe xey just saw something neat and wanted to check it out.
