Extra: Riley adjusted their bowtie in the reflection of the door before nodding, walking through it. Every day, they would go to work with a new bowtie, some wacky, some normal. It was like a tradition, and they loved it! It was their second favorite thing about the job, behind the bugs.

You see, Riley's job is what some would call boring--they were a guide at their local museum. Now, I know what you're thinking. A museum? What's so great about that? Well, let me tell you a bit of backstory!

Ever since they were a kit, Riley absolutely loved learning about anything and everything involving nature. Especially bugs! In fact, they have a collection of them at home. Once they learned about the natural museum being built in their city, they couldn't wait until it opened, especially because it had an entomology exhibit! At first, they just wanted to go a few times, and go a few times they did.

Each time, though, they were drawn mainly to the entomology exhibit, and would find themselves animatedly talking about the insects to anyone who would listen. One day, the manager couldn't help but notice, and offered Riley a job--a guide. Of course, they took it! They were passionate about it, so why wouldn't they?

Back to the bowtie, though--specifically the tradition mentioned earlier. Well, Riley's favorite thing to do is teach the kits about bugs, and how they aren't all scary and dangerous. They offer specific classes throughout the week based on different types of insects--one day it's beetles, the next butterflies, the next bees, and so on. The kits absolutely love it, and tend to come to all of the classes throughout the week.

Riley's bowtie is like a game--the kits try their best to come up with what Riley will come in wearing the next day, and whoever can guess (or close to it) is their helper the next day! It started off with just colors, then evolved into patterns, and now Riley has taken to wearing the silliest bowties they can find in order to mix it up. [350 words]
