Prompt: Doemeadow chose to rescue these robin eggs. Doemeadow was out in the forest, searching for prey when she heard the alarmed call of a robin. She dropped into a crouch and pounced on it, killing it swiftly but when she looked into a nearby bush after hearing slight movement, she found the robin's nest of eggs. She felt terrible and took the nest back to Ocean Clan and got Tansypetal's permission to keep them, she kept them on her head to keep them warm within her fluffy head tufts of fur and now she's raising them as her own, vowing to never eat robins again unless starvation hits.

Quail eggs! Though birds are usually prey for the clan, Soliel is very fond of them, specifically quails! She loves how tiny and cute they are, and until she can have kits of her own, she is dedicating her time to raising these chicks once they hatch.

She noticed the nest one day as she was strolling the clan border. She saw the remains of a quail, and suspected that the clan had caught it. So she went up to it's nest and low and behold, a nest with two eggs. She had no clue what to do, so she quickly put the nest on her head and traipsed from tree to tree until she could land safely with the eggs. She went back to her home in the barn, and laid down to rest. She will sit on the eggs and warm them until they emerge, and hopefully she doesn't squash them.

Prompt: Sparrowheart found some white orbs when she was looking for herbs and bedding around the Twoleg's dens. She panicked and looked around in the trees for the mother, but to no avail. She decided to pick up the eggs and since she had things in her mouth, she took some twine and made a hat for them. They seemed kinda heavy and solid, which Sparrowheart thought odd for eggs. A moon later, they were still unhatched. This was puzzling to her. The eggs should have hatched by now. She was sitting on them and everything. Sparrowheart batted at the shell with her paw, accidentally cracking it. No yolk spilled out. Odd. She decided to further peel the shell off only to find the egg was rubbery...and very clearly cooked. Huh. Those Twolegs do weird things to their pets...

He saw all the humans going into the big human nest with the orange letters on top saying "Sainsbury's" and he saw them going in with paper notes and coming out with food.
All it took was stealing one of those paper note holder things off of some blonde middle aged lady who was having a rant at the man outside with the thing over his mouth and running inside. Sure, it was a bit of a challenge sneaking between the aisles, and even harder getting up to the shelf marked "chicken eggs" in the back of the store with all the people around.
He'd taken a look at the whole chickens as he walked past them and figured they might be a bit big to take back to his clan, and he was never that strong.
Instead, he figured that he could take some eggs back to grow into some full chickens to eat later! Cardfoot just put the whole wallet on the shelf and took a box of 12 eggs. It seemed like a fair trade to him! There were about 40 of those paper note things, and he didn't know how human money worked but 40 tokens had to be worth something anywhere.
Most of them broke on his way back to camp but hopefully those last two eggs will grow into full chickens to be eaten!
The best bit is, he doesn't have to worry about it being an unsustainable practice to hunt these chickens in their territory. They're not even from his clan's territory so he literally can't hunt them unsustainably! And the humans seem to really like the chicken meat, so presumably he can make a lot of profit in his clan from trading away chicken-eating rights.

Prompt: This cat has White Laced Red Wyandotte Chicken eggs in this nest! As to why she rescued these younglings, Doe has been watching the animal fairies since she was a young kit, and seeing them care for others has lead to her becoming one of their most trusted friends. She brings them the ones in need, and in return the fairies allow predators that Doe knows into the camp. Previously predators were a taboo as they could harm the fairies who were doing work, but with Doe's help they've come to a sort of truce while in the tiny camp area. These younglings will be raised by Doe herself, after they've had proper treatment with the fairies of course.

The lazy medic was taking his 3rd nap of the day when a gray catbird decided that his head was the perfect site for a nest. Thus, the bird began building and laid some eggs when she was done and since Hypnos is such a heavy sleeper, he didn’t even notice until he woke up.

“Huh...my head’s particularly heavy.”
