REASONS BEHIND THE SONGS;

I came up with these ideas while listening to these songs,
My ideas for Daisy is that they're quite the adventurer and are always looking for a reason to explore or be out in the forest; though they usually get into quite the trouble, even without meaning to. Before they found the campgrounds and became part of the family, they never really felt like they belonged anywhere. They were just a traveling feline on their own, unsure of what they were even doing.

In present day, Daisy is quite the mischief maker. They are usually causing harmless chaos and pranks on unsuspecting victims; Even if they won't admit it, they have a huge softspot for everyone in the campgrounds despite their chaotic actions.

conveys how much he wishes he could be in control and inside, how he wants to have
a life of his own, one beyond his imagination. c:

in the end, all he wanted was to be normal. to be loved, accepted for who he was.
and this song perfectly puts into words what he realizes after so many moons.. he
realizes how precious life is and how even though reality had never treated him well,
there was always beauty in a place so dark. always something to treasure in a storm.

♦ Mapledawn has always been an empath, able to feel the joys and sorrows of those around him as his own. Both a blessing and a curse. In his apprentice years, a curse more than anything else. All the other toms in his clan were so different. They were bold, courageous, and talented at combat. And he? A softer, gentler tom who cared so much — perhaps too much — about that lonely soul in the background. He never asked for it, and constantly tried to tamp it down. Not to mention his awful skills at combat.

Mapledawn continues to wrestle with that question of identity, struggling with it throughout his apprentice years.

♦ And then… release. It didn’t come suddenly. A process of trial and error, a learning curve, just coming to that place of acceptance. He’d tried so hard to belong, to become the warrior all his friends were, constantly comparing and trying to “fight for what wasn’t his”. A song close to his heart, it represents a choice to break free of those shackles that defined him for so long. To be who he was meant to be, not who he should be or to the standard he should measure up to. At heart, he’s a lover, an empath, a friend to all and a counsellor. A guardian.
