Prompt: Fern was the first dog in High Bridge, belonging to the Founder's parents Fern found her way around the kennels very quickly. Fern was the typical older dog, she could have a short temper with some dogs and would let others jump all over her. Fern was very fond of puppies and had all the patience in the world with them, the newest puppies at high bridge followed her around like she was their mother. Séamus in particular had a fondness to Fern, and always use to cuddle up in her soft fur.
Fern always walks with Séamus when out on walks, and Séamus is always considerate of her, he walks slowly along side her to not put any stress on her ailing joints.

Séamus is quite larger than Fern now that he grew to his adult height but that doesn't mean you can't find the two snuggling on the same spot on the couch or on Séamus's bed, Séamus never shared his toys very well and was instinctively protective over them even to his sister Saoirse but never seemed to have a problem sharing them with Fern. Fern gets along with all of the dogs in High Bridge, for many of them she was the first non relative collie they saw, many learned agility and social skills through her. She is the dog who is first to greet any visitors who come to see the kennels and is very influential on all of the animals there. Dog, cat or any of the livestock bred near the kennels, even a huff from her make the sheep run in the opposite direction, for such an old dog you really can't keep fern down. (284 words)

Prompt: polen's best friend is gwyn! the two old boys love sitting on the beach and sharing a large rawhide bone together. since polen is a tad older than gwyn, he loves telling the younger stories of his past. gwyn always goes to polen's bed at exactly six o' clock pm to share his dinner with the older boy, so that the other dogs don't get in their way. polen struggled making friends again after he hit the old ages, zofia and atli stopped hanging out with him because they felt trapped with the fact that it took a good thirty minutes for polen to get up and outside. gwyn took interest in polen after the sweet boy saw his older companion attempting to chase ocean-ducks (what they call seagulls ;p). after that day, gwyn and polen have been inseparable, they sometimes even share a bed together. polen likes to think of himself as gwyn's father, taking an interest in his pups since polen can't have any of his own. the two babes are best friends and are just trying to enjoy the most of life together. however, they do get into trouble loads of the time, recently gwyn and polen got caught at the local fishing mart trying to "steal" a plate of oatmeal cookies. that will teach me never to take them to the mart again. 227

Kenobi and Anakin are two peas in a pod, two halves that make a whole- soulmates if you will (non-romantic soulmates of course, they love each other dearly, but as friend/family). Whenever Anakin couldn't find Kenobi, he'd sit back on his rump and howl until Kenobi came running to him. The only thing that's different now compared to when they got along when Ani was a pup, is the fact that Anakin does most of the caring now. He's very well aware of Kenobi's age, and he does his best to make sure his best friend is happy and unharmed. Kenobi had done so much for Anakin; giving him affection, playing with him, and of course keeping him safe! Not only did Kenobi do what our female collies normally do, he also taught little Anakin some tricks! Both collies would spend time practicing herding together, solving little puzzles, and they even practiced some dock diving!

Our kennel staff dread the day that Anakin outlives Kenobi, as they're our most iconic duo ever. It's a bit ironic how Kenobi ended up as Anakin's mentor, considering the Star Wars characters that they're named after! Until that day arrives, you'll never see these two collies separated. <3
