Username: Coraly
Cat Name: Sandriver
Gender: male
Rank: warrior
Clan: Clan of The Rising FoxAge: 25 moons
Prompt:—————————————
Yes. There are other cats in the clan. Only two, really. Foxstar wasn’t much of the cheery-everyone-have-fun type though. He barely showed emotions, that guy was hard to get through to. But.. Robin’s Cry was nice, she was easy to talk too, and helped when he had.. what was he supposed to call them? ... his problems..?
Yes. That’s what they were. His problems.
—————————————
It was a normal day. Sandriver had woken up depressed, feeling like everything was going to go wrong. He was used to this feeling, and decided to go to the healer’s cave. Robin’s Cry was already there when he walked in, and Sandriver meowed to the healer, “I don’t suppose you have an herb that helps sadness?” He already knew the answer, but it was like their special little routine.
Robin’s Cry gave him a strained smile, she looked like she hadn’t gotten any sleep. That was normal too. “No, sadly, I don’t Sandriver,” She chuckled, and then stopped sorting the herbs beneath her paws. “Unless you want something to make you calm, there’s an herb for that emotion.” Sandriver sat down, feeling as if he was going to melt. She stopped smiling, “what’s bothering you?”
Sandriver shook his head, “never mind, I don’t want to worry you,” and started to turn around. He left, leaving her worrying.
—————————————
they both have weird problems, why do I do this to my characters?
Anyways,, he expresses depression and sadness a lot, Sandriver never really wants to bother anybody, but usually does. His moods easily rub off onto others. Well, all expect Foxstar.

Sandriver took a deep breath as he stepped out of the healer cave. Why had he done that? His pace was racing, and something was stirring. He eyes felt as if tears were going to fall, but.. nothing came. He took more deep breaths as the cat traveled to the lake.
There was always an eiry silence about it. Robin’s Cry always called the lake the Siren’s Den. He had always wondered why. But it calmed him. The melody of the wind, the small waves of the lake crashing against it’s shore. Deep breaths. It made him feel better, happy, even.
—————————————
Yay! I’m strangely happy now, but I finally got to weave some lore into the storyyy! :’) So yay! :0
Also note: the siren is npc ig, like StarClan? Mentioned but never really shown.
—————————————
The cat smiled, and the song of the wind turned into something else, but, he didn’t notice. The cat was too busy trying to stay calm, and that was hard. He didn’t feel the water on his paws. Leaving the safety of the ground and sand, Sandriver was stuck, a force leading him to the depths.
Robin’s Cry had followed him after Sandriver had left, and she stood there. The cat pulled him out, by smacking him with her paw. “Helloo?” She said, her tone slightly.. forceful, “What were you doing?!” Sandriver by then had snapped out of it and was staring at Robin’s Cry as of she was crazy.
“..huh..?” He finally said, shaking, well, more like shivering. Robin’s Cry shook her head.
“You’re delirious.” She stated, turning around to go back to camp, then stopped. Sandriver didn’t see her expression, but if he had, he’d have known that she was facing something much bigger than just his silly stupidity and sadness. She turned back, her eyes frantic, “just stay away from the lake.”
—————————————
Reasons why he’s sad a lot. :0
- he believes that everything has a way of going wrong.
- bad luck usually follows him everywhere.
- he’s never really had friends. Or a family. Or anything.
- add all that up and he is a very fragile bean.

Sandriver did not stay away from the lake that day. In fact, he stayed by it all day. Staring at it’s soothing waters, and contemplating life. And why he was always so sad.
He still didn’t have an answer. But the waves helped him, they let him drift off, away from everything that he had on his mind.
And for a while, it was enough.
