Name: Desierto Forido (Fori)
Name Meaning: Referring to the phenomenon of the Desert Bloom, which occurs any time between September-November in the Atamaca desert (Chile) or the Liman deserts (North/South) of Peru. There are also occurrences elsewhere in the world, with the United States having a Superbloom effect in California’s Anza-Borrego park every 10 years or so. The most recent was just last year in 2019, but made for some talk as it came just two years after its preceding bloom!
Gender: Female
