Night Owl: This gal is a bit of a trouble maker. She doesn't door dash, she's not mean or aggressive. She doesn't get into trash or the fridge or try to run off. She's friendly and loving. However, this gal loves herself some bread. Doesn't matter what kind. A loaf of bread, tortillas, biscuits, rolls, anything bread related and she's into it. She will do whatever she can to get that bread. That includes hopping onto counters, maneuvering things to get to where ever it is, opening cabinets. Anything she can do to get her paws on bread, she will.

What has also been an interesting discovery, is that he likes to jump on the table and search possible small leftovers of dinner.

Scotus let out a sigh. The moon had graced the night sky with her presence. Her light gently illuminating the earth below. He gazed at the glowing orb that hung among the stars. Everything was at peace. The sound of crickets chirping, the gentle wind blowing across the grassy pasture, the dim glow of the fireflies illuminated the land.

The barn was finally asleep. It was the perfect time for Scotus to wake up and get started on his day. Many would find it odd that his sleep cycle is the complete opposite but he has a reason. He much prefers the night a lot more than day. It’s not as hot, it’s peaceful and it’s more beautiful. It was time to go about his nightly patrol.

Scotus would silently patrol the barn, making sure everything is as it is and nothing is out of the ordinary. This was his nightly routine. He’s the barn’s resident night owl and guard dog. Many asked why he does it and why he’s not afraid. His answer is always simple. Scotus just enjoys doing it.

Everything was truly more serene and beautiful at night.

What Diablo loves most about the night is the peace. With everyone asleep, he's left to himself with no one to disturb him. There's so much potential in those hours, endless ways to spend them. He could play, go places he's not allowed, eat treats or even just sit and watch the stars. However, Diablo is more ambitious than that.
When everyone is asleep, his inner self comes to life. Having mastered the door, Diablo steals away into the night. The surrounding forest becomes his territory, where he can chase creatures and dismantle sticks, letting his emotions out. He becomes the beast of the forest. Someone to be feared and with the power to do anything.
When the sun chases away the moon, he returns. He's back to himself, a soft teddy bear who'd never hurt a fly. The dog all in the kennel can depend on.

Because there's two sides to Diablo. And the moon is the key between them.

Night Owl: Timber doesnt like to sleep for long periods of time so instead of sleeping at night he takes naps every so long. He loves to look and mess with others stuff since they are all asleep. But the main thing he loves to do at night is go outside sit and just stare at the stars and the moon wishing he could be closer to it. He especially loves when their are lunar events going on, he will stay up all night for those.

Olber always spends his night looking for one thing: trouble. Tonight he finds it when he checks out the laundry room. A lovely prize but it's defended by a three-headed beast. The white head of the hydra lifts from slumber to regard him with narrowed eyes. A warning rumble brings the other two heads, brown and grey, up to watch him and he pauses his approach.

However, not one to ignore a challenge Olber bounds forward to grab the thick sock in front of the dryer. The dogpile is offset when the diminutive Zaragoza springs from her hiding place among the other dogs to grab the opposite end. The fierce little female snarls at him but he shakes her off and goes tearing out of the room.

The chase lasts until Olber leaps up onto the couch and dangles the sock just out of her reach. He bounces from one side to the other and bows so she can almost get it before flinging himself back and teasing once more. The game is fun until she starts to bark at him angrily, loudly. He gets off the furniture to have a fair game of tug-o-war before she wakes the humans.
