He couldnt explain much, but the creepy smile set on their face, and their odd pupils eyes staring out through their fringe combined into an unsettling look shook pantheon to the core and his mind could only supply him with the thought 'ThReAt!' as he watched them and an innate urge to run overcame him, and so he fled, tears filling his eyes

Why was this kit alone in the woods?;; A simple TL;DR: Astra feels a sense of belonging and wholeness in the woods, being able to practice and build on her rune magic surrounded by nature, what the runes thrive on. Due to her mild speech impediment, she is seen sometimes as creepy by other simas, so she chose to isolate herself from many simas and practice her rune magic.

Astra feels at one with the woods, the leaves swaying, beckoning her presence, the animals eagerly waiting for her kindness, and the cool breeze, guiding her to her destination. She feels calm yet aware when in the woods, isolated from the loudness and confusion of the town, cleared of all stress and tapped in with nature, allowing her to practice rune magic. The woods are in a sense her second home, a place of practice and therapy, a place of total belonging.


ᚨ ᚾᚨᛏᚢᚱᚨᛚ ᛒᛟᚱᚾ ᛈᛟᚹᛖᚱ
"A natural born power"
Astra was born with the gift and power of runes, specifically born with Raidho (ᚱ, power of travel and direction), Ehwaz (ᛖ, power of transportation), Tiwaz (ᛏ, power of the sky and honor), Sowilo (ᛋ, power of the sun and health), Gebo (ᚷ, the power of gift and generosity), Othala (ᛟ, power of ancestral property), and Dagaz (ᛞ, power of dawn and awareness). Being born with these ones, she has a natural gift of their powers. However, she wants to learn to wield and master the power of all runes, putting them to good use in the very forests she dwells in. Runes are nature's alphabet and magic, and what better place to practice than in an area surrounded by life.


ᚨ ᚠᛟᚱᚲᛖ ᚾᛟᛏ ᛏᛟ ᛒᛖ ᚱᛖᚲᚲᛟᚾᛖᛞ ᚹᛁᛏᚺ
"A force not to be reckoned with"
If the runes' power falls into the paws of an inexperienced sima or one who intends wrongdoing, the results can be disastrous. Runes are not easy to master, let alone start, but there are times a sima may accidentally trigger a rune's power, or use it in the name of evil. Runes are a gift of nature, but just as storms can cause mass destruction, so can they. Astra makes it a main goal in her life to not only educate simas on their powers and dangers, but to stop those with an ill soul and motive. She is only a kit and stil has much to learn before she is able to defeat strong enemies single-handed, though her control over rune magic gets stronger each passing day.


ᚨᚾ ᚢᚾᛚᛁᚲᛖᛚᛃ ᚠᚱᛁᛖᚾᛞᛋᚺᛁᛈ
"An unlikely friendship"
A few months back, a shy soul by the name of Korrus had found himself lost in the maze of trees, mist and shrub. He ran into Astra, being scared at first of her seemingly unwelcome appearance. She urged him to not be alarmed and showed him the way out of the woods back into town. Being intrigued by this kit not much younger than him, he stuck around, allowing her to teach him the basic lore of runes and how their magic benefits him. He stuck around, following her into the forest now often, being able to forage fresh ingredients for his tea shop, not very far away from the woods.


ᚷᛖᛏᛏᛁᚾᚷ ᚺᛖᚱ ᛈᛟᛁᚾᛏ ᚨᚲᚱᛟᛋᛋ
"Getting her point across"
Astra has a small handicap, which can lead to people mistakenly viewing her as 'eerie and creepy'. It takes her a few seconds longer to process words and respond, about four seconds to be precise. This does not affect her cognitive ability whatsoever, it is but a mere lag of word. Because of this, she does not speak very often, only feeding into simas who are too quick to judge's opinions of her. Though, when working with runes or encanting a spell, the lag is significantly less, due to how much and how often she practices.


ᚾᛖᚹᛖᚱ ᚨᛚᛟᚾᛖ ᛁᚾ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚹᛟᛟᛞᛋ
"Never alone in the woods"
Astra has a strong connection with the wildlife around her, being able to almost understand the plants and animals. Spending so much time in the woods, she has learned the behaviors of many different animals, what they eat and where they seek refuge. She generally spends her days stationed in one small area, changing location every so often. She's generally the only one of her kind in the woods she dwells in, labeling her technically as alone. But, she strongly believes otherwise; she is much easier able to understand the creatures of the forest than the unpredictable and possibly dangerous simas that live outside the thick green border.

What was this kit running from?;; Wither attempting to hand out candy to children who pass by. Unfortunelty, a skeleton looking sima, attempting to pass out candy with a jewel that looks like a sima skull. Scared this poor kit in the other direction.

Why was this kit alone in the woods?;; After Void attempted to make friends, and someone took off after a skeleton tried to give out candy. Trying to constantly avoid Void got them turned around. They aren't scared though, simply annoyed that they got separated.
