Middle dragon (Media Draco)
The middle dragon, or media draco, is smaller than the average feathered dragon, and taller than the average munchkin dragon, both of which are in the same family as the middle dragon. There are almost none existing in the wild, save for a few ferals who were abandoned or escaped their domestic homes. They enjoy the company of other dragons, going so far as to travel long distances in search of companions.

Short desc of where they live: Nylix lives on a dark dying realm. He used to live deep underground where the light was dark and the air was moist and cool. Only coming out at night to hunt for bigger game. But now Nylix lives above the soil, as the Realm's sun has died leaving the planet dark, cold and desolate. His glow attracting prey to him now morose than ever. Wandering the forest and the city, stealthy hunting after a short nap.

Short desc of where they live: The place tends to stay hot and humid, roughly around a good 86 degrees fahrenheit. The woods is dense, covered with many trees and vines. The ground below is a marshland, sparse with water and forms to the touch. The thick clouds cover the rays of the sun, where many unknown and mutated creatures prey. With not many light sources around, food for most creatures have gotten scarce. Only those with a source of light can make it through the troublesome days. It rains almost daily, and without the light of the sun, not many plants have been able to survive for very long. Only those with the most fit survival techniques are able to survive the creatures much more larger than them...

Eleanor tends to hang around the forest, preying on small creatures that are unfortunate enough to pass by. They tend to sleep on the forest floor, as the bright blue mushrooms tend to hide them from predators above and below. Sometimes Eleanor will leave the forest, never during the day: only at dusk and night, and go to the lake and lie near it watching the stars.

I feel like I’m writing a backstory and not a short description of where they live :P

xx During the day Nox resides in a cool, damp cave system that burrows deep into the earth. With his bioluminescence among the only sources of light in the caves, he spends much of the day in near total darkness. Half of which he sleeps through in his favored den. This den, with a mere two entrances that were scarcely big enough for him to fit through, was the safest place in the caves. And thus the perfect home for him.
xx However, while he spends his days in the relative safety of the caves, like many other creatures of the jungle, he’s most active at night. Some nights he sticks to the jungle floor, picking his way through the foliage; others, he climbs the trees and uses the thick vines as bridges to get to where he needs to go. Luckily there’s plenty of food and shelter to be found, so long as you don’t mind the humidity.

Short desc of where they live: A mist-shrouded bog close to the jungle. The mire has very few trees but the surrounding foliage is lush and tempting to any creature unaware of the dangerous mud traps hidden beneath the ferns. Thankfully Dezir is an expert at navigating the treacherous landscape with his nimble paws and sharp nose. The area is extremely humid, which suits his taste, and prey is frequently lured to him through the dense fog thanks to his bioluminescence. It's also eerily quiet there, making for a nice peaceful place to call home.
