hey hey <3 glad to see you stopping in again!
I did not put this anywhere but on the discord, since the option of how transfers will work is being discussed still (it's added as an option on the google form check)- however, here is the basis of how things will go!

in simple, yes! in the future after things are more set up (ie everything is finished and we start the welcoming/opening event) I will be opening up a transfer thread so that all dogs who already have numbers can still be put on these new lines.

everyone who has an old line dog will get one free transfer of their choice, so everyone who has a BH on another line set can choose a husky to transfer over: past that is where right now it is at a bit of a discussion (though not really). the majority consensus is that transfers should be paid (with the other responses saying no transfers at all), but with the option to get free transfers: how these free transfers will be given out is what I am still trying to figure out. the current options are:

1) having free transfers function like earning customs [how that will be worked out is to be determined still, but perhaps like a system of honorable mentions] 2) having transfers be won through titling, or the arpg system (since majority is having anything that is not adopts only, with the titling system being the preference so far) or 3] having transfers that are free only be available as special options

once the initial system for how the species will be run (either titling or through an arpg) is set up, then the further little cosmetic details such as transfers will be patched up!


as for everyone else who has not marked yet, I definitely still recommend you submit a google form! I will have it up for the next couple of days: just to give a public, non-discord update, I have had my drawing computer out for repairs, and while it was supposed to be back by now, it's been still at the repair place halfway across the country because of all the stuff that needs fixing in it. so, while I wait for it to get fixed and shipped back to me from it's vacation in Texas, all of what I will be doing right now is working on the systems, threads, etc and making sure everything is set up properly before I open up with an event! that includes going through staff: right now, the artist competitions are open and I will be looking into putting up other staff applications soon (once I determine what staff is needed)!

of course, to everyone, I recommend joining the discord and always feel free to pm/dm me if you have anything you do not want to post publicly! I will be updating the FAQ soon with some questions so far.

@ shadybro - not a problem at all! <3 hopefully things will be up and running relatively soon! once I get that laptop back things should really be kicked into gear with art and the opening event!

just a little announcement: it has been brought to my attention on both cs and discord that there are adopts that need to be judged from previous BH adopts (especially in relation to BH events). I will preface that most of these updates are being released in the discord, since updating every little comment on cs would be a lot of information overload: however, please note I will be getting to these eventually!

all of these adopts were made before my ownership, meaning they have already been unjudged for years, unfortunately : ( a week is not too much longer in that timespan, especially since you cannot do anything with them at the moment; additionally, as we are going through every single adopt for a brand new archive, oats is marking down any adopts that I need to look at so I know what needs my assistance, especially since some genes are being reworked- meaning as soon as I can dedicate the time to it, I already have a list of what needs to be done!

I will say that if you do want a competition judged immediately, you are of course welcome to submit a report to cs staff and they will judge it when they can. I have no qualms with that, and no one will be penalized in the slightest! just know I have full intents to go through and fix things before the species opens.

I figured I would give an update for the night: today I have started a functional google spreadsheets bank, so as of right now it functions that when you put in a user ID it will fetch you information such as current username (that is in the bank) and currency amounts! you no longer need to control F or go searching through a bunch of usernames. I will not be releasing it just yet because it needs to be prettied up, but it is functional and theoretically could be released at any time.

additionally, we have a good start on the archives, so expect them to hopefully be in the first phase of completion hopefully by the start of next week! all this means is that, at the very least, all dogs will be written down in one spot and it will be visible what staff needs to go through for the second phase (which is completion + up to date as much as we can get).

I am currently in the process of fixing the genetics (removing, adding, changing, etc) which is why it is taking so long since I started, but once I do that the rest is mostly smooth sailing until I set up the systems!


slated for tomorrow is: finalizing the kennel page + opening registrations (barring bank registrations, those will be separate), updating FAQ, and updating the dev log with the specifics of the changes made. I do not know what my other plans for the day will be, but it will likely involve commenting on artist entries if I have the time.

I will be up for a little while longer as I am working on a final, but please feel free to dm me or pm me anything (and of course feel free to post here, or add comments to the google form)! otherwise, have a good rest of your night/day yall, and I'll be back with updates tomorrow! thank you for being so patient with both of us <3
