    Day 7
    Username: paopu
    Cow: Caspian
    Prompt:
Day 7: how did your Buttermilk feel about the farmers market? Did they learn a lot about themselves?
Caspian had a great time at the market. She always loves new experiences and meeting new people. In fact, she often dreams about travelling the world and stopping by little festivals here and there. There's nothing quite like seeing what sort of stuff locals of a place value. Everything from the foods offered to the activities they run says something about the little town. Not to mention all the people! On an island there's a bit of a limited population so it doesn't take long to meet all the residents. Here on the mainland there's significantly more people. There's also sorts of people in all different shapes and sizes and cultures. She'd spend the rest of her life travelling to and fro places just to see what they have to offer. She's sad to leave this place. And, honestly, a little sad she didn't get to take part of every activity she could. Even the unofficial ones like the story she'd heard about some duck that got loose? Or oh she wished she could've stopped by the cafe or do the corn maze! She'd gotten too distracted in the marketplace itself, looking at all the wares available to purchase. She'd come back though, she was certain. Maybe not next year or the one after but some day she'd be back to experience it all!

Day 7
Username: Pufferheart
Cow: Beth
Prompt:

"I really liked the farmer's market, quite a lot more than what I had originally thought. And to think I almost didn't come here! I met a lot of nice Buttermilks, and now I feel like I'm a better Buttermilk because of that.

"I really did learn a lot about myself during the farmer's market. I answered a lot of questions I hadn't ever thought of. For example, what my favorite weather. I always knew that I liked the cold, but specifically saying I like the rain and the snow a lot better than the heat and sunshine is something I had never told anybody before.

"I think I might have learned to be a bit more patient as well. I get less angry more often. I think that's because I've told some before about my past and the things I have done, so now I have it all off my chest. I feel a lot lighter nowadays.

"I know that I will be coming back. This is the most fun I have had in a long time. I'll be planning to travel here again next year, and the year after that, and the year after that. I should hope that I wouldn't forget, but if I do, I'll have the memories of my first time at the farmer's market for years to come."

Day 7
Username: mtuan,
Cow: Abby
Prompt: Abby sighs in relief as it was all over- while the farmer's market was fun and all for the high strung and nervous girl, she was rather burnt out from it all! She distinctly recalls the way she finally allowed the tension to fall from her shoulders as soon as it was announced to be over, though she looked forward to the last stretch of the market event in town, there was no doubt that somewhere in the middle, she had hit some sort of a wall. And yet- the young farm girl definitely learned quite a lot about herself throughout the week that the farmer's market had been around. She has found out that she is much more shy than she had initially thought- and she knew she was rather bashful from the very beginning! She had always been like that, but now- she was learning that there was much that she could not necessarily fix, but she could improve on to make herself a better person in the future. She learned a lot about her interests too- her fears and her hobbies and how much they impacted her on a day to day basis. These aren't things she often thinks about- but now she knows. [207 words]

Day 7
Username: Joke's On You
Cow: Meadow
Prompt:

When the Farmers Market first started, Meadow was very nervous about how big the event would be. Surely there would be a lot of people there, and one of the things she was most afraid of was interaction. Or at least- she was very shy and didn't communicate well when it came to any sort of interaction. Which is why she was nervous when the Farmers Market first began. Though as the event continued over the past couple of days, Meadow got to warm up to the whole thing and even discovered a few things about herself by participating in a couple of different activities over the days. Not only that, but she was able to get more in touch with herself over the time.

One of the biggest realizations that Meadow had during the event was that she wanted to make friends but didn't know how to overcome how shy she got around others. She found herself constantly thinking about how much more fun the event would be if she had friends to participate with. So after all this time, Meadow realized that she needed to work hard to slowly overcome how shy she became around others. Because events like these and well, life in general, would be a lot more fun with some trustworthy friends at her side.

Hopefully next year, if the Farmers Market returns, there will be a Meadow that is a bit more outgoing, rather than shy and stuck in a turtle shell. [248]

Cow: Noel
Prompt: Noel sat down on a bench under the large tent, twinkling string lights casting a cozy haze as the sun set on the farmer's market. She had certainly enjoyed the event, taking daily strolls to see what every booth offered, she even came out of it with some rhubarb jam! The woman had been cradling the jar of jam in her hands, and now set it on the bench beside her. A handsome man approached her then, his hand outstretched. Noel blushed and took it, standing up and being twirled onto the dance floor, a real hootenanny! As she spun about under the tent, the managed to catch the familiar faces of a few others she had seen around. There was Azi, and Daisy Grace, and Avalon! They all shared laughs and chatter around the tent, a cup of spring lemonade in hands with garden hats and flowers adorning their figures. Noel had had so much fun and wished it could last forever!

Finally she waved her dance partner good-bye to get some lemonade for herself, a small vase of daisies sat on the table. She looked to her left and right before swiping one and putting it behind her ear, smiling as she poured her lemonade and returned to her bench to gather the jar of jam. Time to go home, this was a festival she'd never forget!

Day 7
Username: Winter Shores
Cow: Antheia
Prompt:

Antheia sat there silently thinking. She was going to miss the Farmers Market dearly. She enjoyed everything about it. The new experiences, challenges, and friends. She didn't want it to end. She was afraid that if it did she would lose the people she cared about the most. Somehow, she thought, she was going to mess this up, mess everything up. But in the time being at the farmers market she found so much out about herself and she would cherish that information forever. She got to unlock a new memory, remember where she grew up, and gauge the feels she had about certain things. She couldn't help but love everything about it. She made so many good memories with everyone here and it would be a pity to have to lose it. She smiled at herself, she really had fallen in love with the booths and the experience. Everything here seemed perfect, like it was meant to be. Sure at first she was a nervous mess but she was here and trying and in here opinion that was what counted. She stood up and stretched. There was no time for sulking! All that mattered is she was having fun and enjoying what she did.

      Cow: True Hospitality
      Prompt:
Day 7: how did your Buttermilk feel about the farmers market? Did they learn a lot about themselves?

Howdy really enjoyed the farmer's market! It was a fun experience to not only get out of the house, but also to meet a lot of new people! It also was the driving fact for him to adopt a dog, which he has always wanted to do, and allowed him to now have a lot of new friends! He is super happy, even if not much else changed about him! He was able to get out of his shell a little bit and talk about his childhood, which is not something he had done in a while, and reminisce about the good days for him.

He also enjoyed the really little silly activities! Participating in the farmer's marker booths was super fun for him. He loved the games and playing all the different types, and would definitely come to the farmers' market again next year if he was able to!

Hopefully in the next event, he is able to bring his dog Chief with him! That way now he can show off some new tricks, and be able to enjoy everything again! All in all, it was a good time and Howdy would not change anything, really- everything served its purpose!

Day 7
Username: honeybunchesofoats
Cow: Triton
Prompt:

Triton could say with absolute certainty that he would be coming back to the farmer's market when it opened back up next. When he came, he wasn't expecting himself to open up and let down some of his walls, especially those of which he had been building for a very long time. He had fun for sure, helping Elizabeth pick crops, rounding up eggs for Nessa, and best of all to him, growing a plant for Sorrel.

However, in doing these activities, he was able to reflect upon his past, and especially things he had struggled to come to terms with, like his sister's disappearance. While it was still hard to digest, it gave him more hope than anything. Talking it out and letting himself reminisce, despite the pain it gave him was good because it helped him start to come to terms with how it was making him feel. Honestly, it was also validating the feeling he had that he was beating himself up over too. It was better for him to realize that other people, while not in the same situation, knew what it felt like to lose someone close to them and learn how other people coped with the stress and the grief.

On top of that though, he was reminded that it is ok for him to have fun. He is allowed to let himself go every once in a while and celebrate life and moving forward. Being stuck in the past and the what-ifs are not sustainable, and if he wants to have a healthy life, which is what Rhodos would have wanted for him too, then he needs to start letting go of the weight he carries on his shoulders.

Day 7
Username: Yodel
Cow: Bloom
Prompt:
Bloom thoroughly enjoyed herself at the farmer's market. She was amazed at the large variety of activities and things to try. She didn't once find herself bored or without something to do. Her favourite parts of the market had to be growing her plant in the greenhouse and getting to know Sorrel and her plant, going egg hunting with the calves at Nessa's area, and hanging out at the hootenanny and getting to know other cows.

Bloom didn't so much learn new things about herself, but rather things she already knew or suspected were confirmed and reinforced. Through her various activities, she expressed some of the many aspects of her personality. The one that showed the most was probably how caring she is and how much sympathy she has. Tending to plants and helping sorrowful calves showed her that she has more sympathy than she had originally thought and that it made her feel good when she helped others.

Bloom also had renewed gratitude about many things, like how it was once again brought to her attention how lucky she was that she had a relatively simple and easy childhood compared to others. Alongside gratitude and sympathy, her awareness and appreciation for diversity grew as well as she met many different cows throughout the week.
