prompt: slate has a constant need to count how many steps he takes, from the fresh-kill piles to his nest. the border all the way to camp, he's always counting, he's a newer warrior and always is distracted due to this. He has a tendency to count out loud as well.

Fenwick is a... strange old cat, especially noted for his habitual tapping and knocking. If standing still, he'll tap his paws on his sides or legs. When leaving a room, he'll customarily tap his paw against the doorframe or wall before exiting. If he's sitting at a table? The consistent drumming of his knuckles or rhythmic tapping against the table is an unconscious behavior that amuses some and grates on others. Most of the time? Fenwick doesn't even realize he's doing it- and if asked to stop, he'll only manage to resist for a few moments before starting up again.

(In reality, only part of this is subconscious. Fenwick really does have a habit- almost a tic, really- of tapping his paws on things, and he uses this to his advantage when involved in more... clandestine dealings. Sometimes the drumming on the table is a signal. Sometimes the tapping on the doorframe is a code.)

(The use of that code is seldom a good thing.)

prompt: talking. maeve never quite stops talking. her mind is constantly running in a thousand different directions and she constantly has the urge to vocalize all of it. whether it be a fleeting thought or an entire plan she's constructed in her head, whoever is nearest to her will surely fall victim to lending their ear. even without the presence of another, maeve has slowly resorted to just talking to herself. her motor never seems to quit, even as she sits to herself in her den, mumbling her thoughts under her breath just to get all of it out of her system. the only time she ever seems to stop is when she's asleep, but even then, others tell her she will sometimes mutter in her sleep.

especially after seeing this quirky cat.
wiggles, he lets his friends call him that, is what most cats would call "special".
he loves to roll in the mud and hang out with his dog friends.
wiggles also likes to go swim in the nearby lake with some very friendly ducks.
not your average kittypet, wiggles prefers to watch the sky instead of play with twolegs.
he cannot stand the taste of chicken, or "chimken", but loves licking plastic wrap.
it makes his tongue feel sticky!
he also loves to stick his claws in the squares in the wall that have three holes.
his owners plug their cords into there sometimes.
while he has many disturbing quirks, one of them really sticks out.

wiggles knows that cats think he is weird, but he doesn't care.

congrats! this was super tough to judge but i liked the ominous twist at the end of knickknacks entry. it be spook 👀
