Competition:The most memorable moment in Panco's life is when he first went into the pasture. Bumblebees and butterflies whizzed around, flowers dotted all over the field. Panco honestly felt like he could run for hours in the large pasture. The sun was particularly bright that day so he just ended up falling asleep under the tree after running around for 30 minutes, waking up an hour later just to run around more. The main reason he'll never forget that day is because of the huge sunflowers he saw, they towered over him, looking like they reached the clouds to his 4-month-old self.

Elijah was about three months old at the time when he was put into an arena with his mother. The other older colts told him about this, it was called 'being breed registered'. He had never had his mane done up or have his coat shined and cleaned like this before. This made him ever so anxious and nervous. When the time came, he was released into the arena. He was not sure what he was supposed to do, so he followed his mother. They trotted around the arena until they were cued to walk. Once this was done, Elijah noticed a pole being raised onto two larger planks. It was set quite low, but according to the other colts, he needed to jump as high as he could so he was not sucked into a void of endless despair including no paddock time and no mother. So when he was set up to jump, he eyed the two foot jump before leaping over it as if it were three foot. The owner seemed to be very pleased, and Elijah was too, finding that one, he was still alive, and two, he enjoyed it and was rewarded with baby carrots.

The day had been quiet and a thick, tangible tension lay heavy in the air. The little foal stood still and tall, his neck taught as he eyed the door to the stall, ears perked and flicking as he listened to all the sounds outside.

Today was the day.
He was going or be let out to the paddocks with his mother, and meet other horses for the first time since he was born. He could barely contain his excitement as he whinnyed and pranced around, bucking like the silly little thing that he was, practically falling over his long legs.
He was well behaved though, when a stable hand came and put lead ropes on him and his mother, and led the pair out from the stall and down through the stable hallway, where he got to sniff at a few of the neighbouring horses, and got led out to the paddock where they were let go to have a bit of a run.
Life couldn't be better, he had thought. He had all the room he could ever desire to run to his hearts content and all the new sounds and smells or keep him entertained as well as the fresh green grass beneath his hooves. It was perhaps half an hour after they had been settled however, that his most memorable moment happened.

The stable hand had returned leading a very large and wise looking Stallion, and led him down the fence towards the resting pair. He hadn't expected it of course, but he definetly knew them when he saw them, and his heart felt like it was on cloud nine. The Stallion was a magestic golden champagne colour that shone brightly in the sun, like his own coat. his long wavy mane covering half his face as he pranced and snorted when he finally layed eyes upon them. It was his father! he was meeting his father for the first time, the foal couldn't contain his excitement.
His father was brought up and the mare got to greet him and groom etc, and he got to sniff at the foal through the fence, and seemingly hitting it off on a good note he was then led to the front of the paddock where he was allowed inside.
Closer up, his father seemed like a never ending mountain of muscle and strength, he practically radiated the aura of a leader, and his wise eyes had frozen him in place, but he was incredibly stoic and gentle with his foal, his mate right by his side just in case, but the encounter was one to remember. Ever since that moment, the foal became infatuated with him, sticking by his side or eating where he ate, other than when his mother whisked him away. He got to stay with his father for a few weeks until he was moved to a different stable, but he would always remain his role model, and it is still to this day the foals favourite memory, and he hopes to live up to the grandure that he felt from his father.

Casanova had been born late in the spring, with a chill still in the air as the days started to get longer. He learned to walk while trampling over the fresh flowers of the pasture, with all manner of creatures just waking up from their long winter slumber. By the time he'd finally gotten the hang of the long spindly legs under him, summer had come upon the stables. Days were warm and long, and he loved splashing through the cool water of the creek with his mother (who was only ever trying to enjoy a cool drink of water in peace). He remembered hiding away in his stall at the first claps of thunder during a heavy rainstorm, and the puddles of mud that came after, and how the barn hands spent almost an hour scrubbing the muck from his coat. Then the fall brought piles of leaves to run through, and sweet apples falling from one of the trees in the pasture. By that point, he thought he'd had to have seen every wonder his world had to offer. It was only in the first weeks of winter that he'd been proven wrong. He woke to pastures covered in a thick blanket of sparkling white, stretched as far as he could see. While the other horses seemed so unbothered, trodding into the pasture like any other day, he paused at the door to his stall. This stuff reached to most of the adult horses ankles, what if he was sucked in completely? He could disappear forever! While he was so busy worrying what might happen, his mother had decided to give him a gentle nudge forwards, enough to send him stumbling into the strange substance ahead. It was icy cold, and it clung a bit to the hairs on his legs, but... He hadn't disappeared into it. In fact, he soon found out just how fun it was to run through. He took off bucking, jumping, and carrying on, throwing snow up all around him without a care. The barn hands and other horses all looked on in amusement as he took off through the pasture, all of them remembering their first snow just as happily as Casanova was experiencing his.

There were people everywhere! Cupid snorted and walked around his stall, not believing his eyes. He'd never seen so many people before in his life

The popular group found that cute and invited him and his friends to hang out. To him, that was the funniest and most happiest days with his friends!
