shellwish’s favorite thing to do is collect flowers to weave into his nest. since orchidclan lives in a barn, their nests are predominantly made up of hay and straw, but most cats add in various plants from the nearby forest to sleep more comfortably. however, shellwish is very particular about his nest. why? no one really knows. his nest is on the top floor, after all. not many cats see it unless they’re sick and visiting the healer’s den, or grabbing a piece of prey, but even then most cats don’t think to check it out.
he’s extremely particular about how his nest looks. the flowers must match with the colors of the current season, and of course they can’t clash with each other! lucky for him, his fur is white- so all of the flowers match with him!
most cats think he’s a bit crazy for doing this, but shellwish doesn’t care. in his mind, everyone is just jealous that his nest looks so beautiful!

As expected, the warriors shook their heads. No one had seen Icebird. He had snuck away... again. If the tom wasn't so good at his job, Hemlockstar would have fired him ages ago.

Off in the forest, humming slightly to himself, Icebird was gazing at the plants in his little 'garden.' He didn't exactly plant anything, but he had begun taking care of the herbs and various plants that grew in this patch of the forest. Beams of sunlight streamed down, warming Icebird's light fur and warming the leaves of the plants. "Grow, you beautiful dandelion," Icebird murmured, booping the yellow flower with his paw. "May your petals be beautiful, and your friends grow just as strong." The medicine cat took care to interact with each and every one of the plants that were growing, even talking to the grass.

Others may call him crazy, but Icebird didn't care. He was taking care of the plants, and helping things grow - things that would only serve his clan in the long run. Gardening was Icebird's favorite thing to do, and no one could take him away from it.
