Mouse sat next to another cat who had recently come into the shelter along with herself. She was older than most cats she's met. The older she-cat looked at Mouse. Her pelt was ragged, clumped, unkempt, but fluffy, and her pelt scarred with one ear torn in half. Mouse quickly glanced down, scooting away a little bit. This she-cat was definitely fierce and seemed to put up a good fight, at least back in her youth. For some reason, Mouse felt like she knew this she-cat from somewhere. But, where?
Oh no. Not her. It can't be. Surely not?
"Lily? Is that you?" The old she-cat glared at Mouse.
Mouse glanced up at the she-cat. "H-hi, Night. Y-yeah, it's me."
Night growled, but so low the twolegs wouldn't notice unless they really listened. "I thought you were dead. At least, that's what Moon told me. And she also told me that Fox is dead. How? How did my son die?" The old she-cat hissed at Mouse.
Mouse stammered. How would she tell her that she was the reason he was dead? "I-uh. We were chasing rabbits by the gorge. I told him to stop! He didn't, and he and the rabbit fell over the edge."
NIght glared at Mouse. "That isn't the real reason. Now what really happened?"
Sighing, Mouse calmed herself down. "Fox and I were... racing... by the river. We lept across, but he... he didn't fully make it across. He got caught on a rock... and then swept down the river and over the edge of the gorge. I tried to get him but... couldn't. I'm so sorry, Night."
NIght sighed. "You kids and your games. It's alright Lily. He actually was planning to uh. How do I put this? Murder half of us?" She chuckled.
Mouse stared, wide-eyed. "Well. I didn't expect that. Oh, and it's Mouse now."
"Well, nice to meet you, Mouse. Thank you for saving our lives. Moon would be grateful and would have honored you."

Prompt - Bella looked around worriedly. She hoped that no one had seen her push that cat off the gutter. "It was an accident!" she thought. "I didn't mean for it to happen! He shoved, and I pushed!" But deep down inside, she knew that it was her fault. She heard a distressed yowl, and turned around to see the cat's mother, Violet, screeching, "DOMINO IS DEAD! HE'S DEAD! AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Violet turned around to glare at her, and Bella crouched down, trembling, and tried to make herself as small as possible. "I-I'm sorry! He shoved me and I shoved back!" "THAT'S NO EXCUSE!" Violet screamed. All of the other cats hissed and whispered things like, "Murderer!" and "Traitor!" They all turned their backs on her, and refused to acknowledge her. Bella hung her head and buried her head in her paws. None of the other cats would ever speak to her unless they had to, and even then, they were always curt and rude. Only her mother was still kind to her, at least until she died of a mysterious disease, leaving Bella to her misery... When some people came to pick her up, the other cats seemed visibly relived, which just made Bella more worried and scared. Where was she going, and who would she hurt by accident next?

Athena was dashing as fast as she could. She had to hide, hide from everything. She found an empty den and hid in there. The flashback of what just happened haunted her. She just something horrible and she couldn't bring herself to admit she did it. The words of maybe punishment buzzed in her head. "You have to be killed now! You can't be trusted here! You traitor!" She thought. "No that can't happen please! I didn't mean to!" She would yell. She had just killed Alpha.

Alpha was a female tortoiseshell cat but her coat because of her age is a very deep color. She had a large scratch across her front left paw. Alpha had ruled every wild cat in the forest. She had lived there for ever and was very old. She had ruled since she was 4 years old and now was is 12 years old. She and Athena had been walking in the forest when she got attacked. She closed her eyes and scratched. She heard agony and hurt yowls coming from where Alpha was. She opened her eyes and a big patch of blood around Alpha. Athena looked down at her paws and stared in horror. They were covered in blood.

Athena hid her body and ran to a river. She dipped her paws in the river until the blood washed off. She then got to the point where she was in the den hiding from everyone. She will probably stay there until she needs to leave for food and to use the restroom. But if she is found she will most likely be killed.
