My learning experience? Well... It'd have to be my trip to this new and, frankly, frightening land...
I did once live within the warm and heated plains, where my kind was most often found. I had the usual things to look after. Lions, leopards, the usual. But I was with family, and there was enough to eat. The sunlight was warm and we were all together... Nothing felt wrong then. Everything was right with the world, until man came.
Man... with their strange sticks and odd, long grasses came and ran after us, throwing the strange grasses over us, and were able to pull and lead us back to wherever they wished for us to go. It was amazing, how such an insignificant object could take away so much. I watched my family run off, leaving me in the dust with these strange men and their horses.
I was lead into a strange platform on water, and I traveled across the seas for a time, until I was brought to a place unlike my own. Their grasses were darker, and white stuff was upon the ground. Later did I realize it was what most refer to as 'snow'. The smells were different, the scenery was different. Everything was... different. I did not like it, but I could not go back. Even if I could, I did not know just how to get back home...
That was my learning experience. I had to get used to this strange land, and, ultimately, the strange man I later began to call 'master'. This land was not my own then... but... with time, it has become something different. Something special."
