E43:MistleFoe™️
Jasiri was walking down the beaten path to the emblem tree to talk a small relaxing nap and to clear his thoughts from his daily duties. He had curled up cozily in the massive roots and didn’t realize a lioness was tying mistletoe and lanterns alongside beautiful leather bows in the tree.J took a small nap while continued working,he didn’t even realize she was up there decorating still. He Soon was awoken by a massive lioness crushing him to the ground.Jasiri growled and quickly flipped her off of him while pinning her down. The two pride members started grappling with each other thinking they were enemies before they came to a realization they were the best of buds.J quickly let her go and laughed at the situation before he was nudged. They had been fighting under the mistletoe the entire time. His face heated up...well he did like her but he was scared to show it.So he quickly booped her nose with his and ran off to his den where he hid all night.

E44: I wish I may...I wish I might...
Elea sat there on the edge of the clearing gazing up at the beautiful midnight starry sky.Granted it was past his bed time but he didn’t mind, he had been sleeping but he had a massive night mare and needed to clear the air.He continued watching the galaxy washed sky and smiled at a star shooting by. Elea gaped as it continued to pass and quickly whispered out his wish.He wished for his adopted sister to not be so sad around the holidays and about her biological parents.El sat their shaking from the cold and felt his father curl up around him watching the stars for a bit before ushering him to the warmer den that was better then the warmth he could sustain. The family fell back asleep in the cozy den and slept till dawn.As Elea woke up he noticed his sister was in a better mood and much happier. His wish did come true!

[quote="E46”]Ua sat beside her sister away from the rest of the pride, looking at her with sad eyes. Her sister was so angry; it made her sad. Jino’s claws kneaded at the ground, frustration evident.E45 wrote:For all his bravado, Kusafiri wasn’t as confident as he often made himself appear to be. For all his acting confident, he was not all that secure in how he was perceived. This was especially true when it came to Maji, the lioness whose life he technically saved. She always seemed to bring out a side of him that he never intended for anyone to see: a vulnerable one, where he wasn’t completely in control. Something about her just clouded his head. It was a problem, and yet he loved her anyways.
But by the rose, he had no idea what to do with the confident lioness, especially when he was standing beneath mistletoe with her. “So...” he trailed off as he awkwardly shifted his weight from side to side, “um, should we just-“
Maji chuckled. “You’re not scared, are you, Kusafiri?”
“No!” His response was a bit too quick to not be suspicious. “I just-“
Maji didn’t let him finish, pressing her nose against his got the briefest of seconds. Kusafiri’s eyes just widened further as she pulled back and gave him a pleased grin, eyes twinkling with mischief. “Can’t believe it took going under mistletoe to actually accomplish that.”
“Wait, what?” Kusafiri thought he couldn’t have heard her right, but Maji chose not to elaborate, heading off to be with the rest of the pride. “Hey, Maji!” He bounded off after her, determined to get an answer.
Rem was hanging out near a mistletoe hanging at their headquarters. He wasn’t being creepy, no, at least that’s what he told himself. He lived here, he had a right to be here. It wasn’t weird. Was it? No. He was just waiting. Waiting for Moe to thank her for healing him the other day. The mistletoe just happened to be here while he waited. Yes. That’s how the story went.
Moe was the nicest lioness he’s ever known. She was sweet and kind to him ever since the first day they met. He was meaning to thank her for some time now, but was too shy about it. Finally he’d have a chance.
Suddenly he felt warmth on the side of his face and a loud “smootch!”.
“You were standing under a mistletoe.” Moe laughed after kissing him. “Happy holidays! See you around.”
And she left, leaving Rem feeling very embarrassed and very happy.
“Ohh, oh! A shooting star! Make a wish, quickly!”
Akumu and Sen exchanged confused looks. Neither of them believed in magical stars anymore, not since they were cubs.
“I think I’ll wish for this mission to be over so I can go home. Oh look, it’s being granted right now!” with a smug smile Akumu turned around and started walking away.
“What will you wish for, cap?”
“I don’t really believe in this sort of…”
“Make a wish! Make a wish! Make a wish!” Moe was clutching her paws and looking at him with such intensity he gave in to pressure.
“Alright, alright.” Sen closed his eyes for a second, his muzzle facing the sky. “Done.”
“What did you wish for?!”
“Shouldn’t I keep it a secret?”
“Naaaaah, I won’t tell anyone so technically it will still be a secret. Between the two of us” she winked, wagging her tail in excitement.
“I wished for Lasan and all of us to be healthy.”
“Oh.” Moe sounded disappointed. “I thought it would be something lame like that.”
“Lame?!”
“I mean, it’s admirable and all, I was just hoping for something more fun or personal.” She had a cheeky smile and a glint in her eye again. “But I expected you’d wish for the war to be over.”
“I don’t think one wish will be enough to stop a war” Sen looked at Moe and smiled. “But hopefully it’ll help keep us healthy.”
She nodded in agreement, smiling back.
“I’m sure it will! I wished for a big cake. Like really big.”
