As a young cat, Pigeon didn't have a home. He was left to fend for himself when his mother passed away, and the other loner cats wanted nothing to do with him. Then he met Parsley. The tom was just as lost as he was, yet didn't seem to show it. The tom admired the stranger's ability to keep working, no matter how dire the situation, and the two quickly became close friends. The two toms would journey over the landscape, hunting when they could and finding shelter wherever possible.
Then the dog attacked. Pigeon was a decent fighter and did his best to chase the creature away, but Parsley was badly hurt. The grey cat did everything in his power to save him, desperately searching for things to stop the bleeding and help him. He was afraid he'd lost the fluffy tom.
When Parsley made a recovery and Pigeon had a glimpse of life without him, it was then that he knew he would follow the tom to the edges of the earth and back. As long as he was with the tom, he was home. So when his new mate hurried back, meowing about a she cat who knew herbs like him and a Clan of cats just past the twoleg place, Pigeon followed him without hesitation.
Finally with a place to stay, the tabby felt at peace. He spent his days training to become a healer, then taking on his name of Pigeonhop, matching his mate's name of Parsleystep. He felt accepted, content, and above all, more at home than he'd ever felt.
