Aeonian Warmbloods
[e•oh•knee•un] eternal; everlasting
The Aeonian Warmbloods come from a long line of mutations. The original Aeonian, Lincoln, was born from two chimeric Cedar Warmbloods, both of which were found to carry a variety of other mutations hidden within their genetics. Their bloodline has allowed for the species to display any horse coat and marking, as well as a few new mutations. They also present a wide variety of eye colors, from the most vibrant neon to the softest pastels. Their physical stature has also been slightly altered from their ancestors as well due to these mutations. We have found that Aeonians can fall anywhere between 15 and 18.3 hands, most falling within the middle of the range. They are a very intelligent species, and do well with riders of all levels and ages. Most Aeonians have been observed to be gentle and kind, but we have noticed some of the stallions are quite territorial, causing them to be overprotective of the mares in their barns.

Show Name: Shepherd of the Flock
Barn Name: Shep
Gender: Stallion
Halter & Hardware Color: Camo and black clasps
Height: 18 Hh
Who is he?:
Shep is a very militant guy, he was trained to be a worker and a horse to be used in hunting by an honorably discharged veteran. He's well mannered and requires minimal upkeep, that being said, its hard for him to adjust to the new lifestyle he has. It's alot more relaxed and easy but... thats just not him. He has too much energy thats not being put to use, so now the ranch hands are looking to get someone who will exercise and ride him for hours a day, but until that person arrives, he's usually kept in the field.
Shep's diet is also rather unique, as he eats a high protein diet, and also he refuses sugary snacks, opting for veggies or fruits instead, as a way to keep his muscles built up and ready for when the action is needed!
Shep also tends to be a lone wolf. He enjoys being at peace by himself, and can get pretty agitated if another horse comes by and disturbs that peace. However, that being said he does welcome calmer horses to be around him. He doesn't have any love intrests, or intrest in love at all, so he's not territorial over anyone in the barn. He also enjoys hanging out with other stallions who can understand his joy of work, and will do races with him to pass the time and energy!
Shep is also the go-to horse when things go downhill, be it a predator has gotten in the field, or something is broken, a fight broke out, or an injured horse, he can keep calm in all these situations, and most horses will look to him for guidance in the panic, he also can grab attention from humans pretty well, especially if he is making too much noise? Something must be wrong.

Winner - loved both stories, which made it hard to pick! I love this guy's background, and all his quirks that keep him in shape!
