Day: 5
A shiver went up the canine's spine as the question was raised. He hadn't actually really told anyone his biggest fear because of how unrealistic the thing he is afraid of is. He is afraid that his friends will make fun of him for his fear. But all fears are revealed at some moment in time.
"I'm afraid of zombies." Akela muttered, his head hanging low to the ground as he admitted his biggest fear. He truly did feel ashamed to have a fear of a creature that didn't even exist. "I know there are a lot of TV shows and movies that are dealing with zombies... They may seem cool, but I can't watch any of those movies without having a nightmare." Nightmares after watching a zombie related show or movie was very common for Akela. He would watch the movie thinking he was alright. But then a couple of nights later, he would dream that everything was real.
The dreams were awful. Akela was alone on the apocalyptic planet to fend for himself. He had to deal with them over and over and over... And sometimes it seemed like he ended up in the same exact sticky situation having to do with the zombies every single time that the dreams occurred. Nights like those would often be sleepless. He would wake up, have to calm himself down from the gruesome dream, then would end up falling back asleep. And although he woke up, those dreams would often occur several times in the same night. Therefore he would wake up several times and have to repeat the process all over again.
"It doesn't sit right with me, no matter how many zombie related shows and movies that I watch. The dreams always happen after one, and I've finally just accepted that I can't watch them anymore unless I want to continue having bad dreams like that." The wolf sighed. "I wish I wasn't afraid of a creature that's not real. But I need to do what's best for me. And what's best for me is not having those dreams. The awful dreams I have relating to zombies is what makes me so afraid of them. . ."

Prompt:
Rigel isn't the type to be startled easily.
In fact, he's actually a fan of ' horror movies ' because they make him laugh rather than smile- I mean, what kind of all-powerful primordial deity takes the form of a c l o w n ?
Yeah, he's that kind of individual.
But frogs ?? Uh, no. If one of those mucousy little amphibians gets within his range of sight, he bolts. Straight-up just high-tails it out of wherever he spots one. It's especially hard because he's a florist, and an agriculture-enthusiast, since he encounters all sorts of creatures in the fields or gardens.
Just recently, while out on a ' spooky ' picnic date with his partner, Astro, a little frog, no bigger that his pawpad hopped onto the little blanket they had spread out, and Rigel rolled backwards to bring more distance between him and the little thing. He successfully got away from the frog, but bulldozed their pumpkin pies in the process. Astro was mad and yet so breathless from laughter at the time that he just stood up, packed everything he could salvage of the pie, and brought Rigel home to clean up.
So there- if you ever want to give Rigel a good scare- you only need a little frog.
He'll go ballistic, and probably be a little mad- but honestly, seeing his usual calm demeanour turn into one of utter horror can give you quite the laugh, that's for sure.
