Don't cry wrote:A tear rolls down the tender cheek,
why would this happen, and why to me?
Animals bite,
words can sting,
loved ones can pass,
and bells fail to ring
Nothing ever goes to plan,
the world seems to be against,
your efforts thwarted at every turn
A break drifts farther out of reach,
You wonder if you even can.
Fear not, there is hope-
at least that's what they say.
Life seems hopeless
Challenges too daunting!
No single remedy for the thought exists,
but if seeking refuge, listen to this:
You are not alone.
There are those who love you.
Do not dwell in sorrow,
but rejoice in oppurtunity!
“Hey now, I know it's kind of rough. It's hard to focus, and you're behind on work. Take a deep breath. I think calming down would help first off-- you don't have to beat yourself up over this, Luka. You're allowed to relax, you're doing your best. Do you like sweets, or do you like fruit instead? Let me get you one. You look like you need the energy.”

“Here you go, snack on this, you looked really tired so this might wake you up a bit. Anyways... Have you been getting enough sleep, too? This isn't the first I've seen you so worn out today.”

“So, you can't rest well? You mentioned it's not like you can't sleep at all, you stay up because you're worried about your assignments... Hmm...
Maybe setting a latest maximum time you can stay up might help? You can't work well when you're really tired late at night, but I know it's hard to change drastically in a short time. What if you set your latest time at 2 AM, maybe? That's pretty late still, but it's better than when you went to bed last night.”

“Yeah, the assignments. It's rough trying to focus when you work on them? I'm not sure how much I can help, it sounds like you might need to talk to the counselor for some professional advice and look more into this, since you've dealt with this for a long time, but, um... I'm kind of the same way. I'm not the best with managing it, but I tend to do better when I can really get a footing on my work, and then I can focus on it for a long time. Even if it's not part of the questions it asks, maybe try and write a few sentences summarizing the part of the subject related to the questions so you get on the right track mentally...? It's not as intimidating as starting with hammering out the main answers right away.
I'm not sure if we work the same way, I know if I take a break I get derailed badly, but taking breaks might work for you. Maybe a five minute break every twenty-five minutes? Some background noise or music could help, sometimes it's distracting, sometimes not.”

“It's no problem. I'd definitely go to the counselor, but I'm glad I could help out.”
Jule should take time to themselves, rather than spending so much time with others. They need a day where they can do as they please without being guilt-tripped into giving their day away to others. Sappy movies that their friends say are 'unrealistic', giving into their sweet tooth for once rather than holding back, even singing their favorite song as if no one else is around.
A self care day all to themselves. Just to let out all those cooped up emotions, to give their mind a fresh start.
