He uses this song to fantasize a future where he can be happy and express himself as much as he wants without the bearing reality of life expectation and roles on the other side.

Oh man, if we're talking kids movies, how can i NOT pick pokemon? I used to own this movie on VHS and i'd play it every day, it was my absolute favourite for a good few years. This kalon gives me a really mellow, maybe somewhat aloof, vibe because of his expression; he looks like he's ready to kick back and take a nap. Because of that, I had to choose this song. The Surf guitar in there, mixed with the entire theme of the song being "wanting a vacation" fit too well with the idea. The juxtaposition of the vibrant design and expression fits with the song too, like how the music is loud but the singer's voice is more relaxed.
