entry:
Write or draw about how your flit keeps the spirit of growing plants alive in the winter.
(514 words)
This part, Blueberry hates to admit, is where he struggles. You see, he barley is able to keep his young plant friends alive during summer, but winter was a whole other thing! To be honest with you, Blueberry tries to minimize the number of plants he, well, plants! The thought of a living thing dying in his hands breaks his heart, so he doesn't want to take that responsibility on when he knows he can not properly do it. So asking Blueberry 'what keeps his spirit of growing plants alive in the winter' He sort of avoids it, as he is no expert in gardening and relatively new to it all! Maybe he will give it a go next winter? When he has a tad more experience! But for now, he doesn't want to risk it. I know he and I make it sound like a big deal if a plant dies because it's debatable whether they have feelings... but to Blueberry and I, all life matters, big, small, plant, animal, it is all the same in our eyes! But seeing some people have managed to keep all their baby crops living and thriving, he'd love some tips and tricks from some more experienced files! Maybe you could help him and me out sometime? We would love to hear anything you had to say! Were open ears, really! Oh, we almost forgot! If this counts, sometimes Blueberry grows succulents inside during winter! Does that count? I think it might! In that case, then yes! Good thing Blueberry just reminded me! His favorite succulent has to be a cactus! Despite their spikes, Blueberry thinks all plants deserve a hug to make them feel better! So Blueberry has rubber gloves and a little suit so he can hug all his cactus! Do give you a rough idea, at the moment, Blueberry has around 30 cactus, so that's ALOT of hugging, so sometimes I come to help him out! I have my own suit and everything for the hugging ceremony, that what Blueberry likes to call it! The hugging ceremony only happens once a month, because it takes a while to get all suited up, but boy does Blueberry look forward to hugging time! I am not kidding, he counts down the days! You may be thinking, "Well, if he likes it so much then why doesn't he do it whenever he wants?" Well, that's a fair question, but I'll hand it over to Blueberry to answer that one! "Hey Blueberry! Could you come over here?" "Coming! Oh hello! What would you like?" "They are wanting to know why don't you do hugging time whenever you want?" "That is easy! You see, if you do something whenever you want, it doesn't make it special anymore, I like the hugging ceremony to be special and something I can look forward to! Have you got any more questions?" Do you a young reader? "Oh, blueberry! They want to know if you name your cactus?" "Pfft! Is that even a question? Of course, I do! My personal favorite is Jerimiah!"
