flower crown: as soon as I saw this heifer, I immediately thought of springtime. I wanted her flower crown to represent the season of spring, but I also wanted a wide variety of colors in the flower crown. When I saw this image, I fell in love with how the colors just seem to go so well together. I particularly enjoy the blue, pink, and purple flowers, all of which I think would look great on this buttermilk. The greens also remind me of something cows would enjoy grazing on during a cool spring day.

Why goldenrod? Besides its gorgeous sunny yellow tones, goldenrod is representative of encouragement and growth, but can also be a sign of good luck and fortune. Goldenrod is also an edible plant, with its flowers and leaves used in teas and honey.
I think this is representative of Theia, a heifer hardened by her life experiences, able to adapt to all sorts of situations, and is propelled by her desire for self-growth (I also think she wouldn't mind having a snack for later resting on her head).
