Feral Tailed Walkers - A Midsummer's Fallow Event

Feral tailed walkers are closely related to their wild ancestors, the original 'feral equines' of Sweden, who sport a fluffy fin-like tail as well as fluffy dense manes. This feral versioned tail is slightly longer than a normal Sveldalas', and their thick fluff is extended over almost the entire length of the tail along each side, while still leaving the top spine of this whip-like appendage bare. Historically these tails were a necessity in the breed in order for them to shelter their thin bodies from the harsh winter storms that riddled the flats of Sjiska. Sadly these beautiful Sveldalas were hunted and captured into near existiction, until the domesticated version we know today was found within Svedala years later and completely altered from the previously known ancient variety. Many decades later, a herd of Feral Tailed Walkers were finally spotted once more, sheltering along the coasts of Simrishamn, and over time with close monitoring a select few were able to be captured to be imported into a special breeding program at the main Sveldala Sanctuary. Now, you have a chance to help rebuild the population of Feral Tail Walkers - by offering them a home within your stables and working to breed the variety out of their nearly-extinct status! On this night, no clouds float over Scotland; the moon and stars dance throughout the dark abyss. A mare lays alone in a field, her head pointed towards the sky. Slumber does not find them selves within this Sveldala in particular, for she is more interested in the stars that scatter the heavens.

" How does the name Sirius sound? " Enceladus thought aloud, seemingly speaking to no one but herself.

Sirius sounds beautiful. Prefect.

Enceladus gave a nod " Sirius it is. " She cheerfully archived the name within her mind, noting that Sirius was the brightest star out of all the others she had seen.

Thousands of small lights filled the night sky, some were brighter than others, few of different colours. It was almost like a painting that happened every night. She could even see a couple of other stars she had named; Polaris, Canopus, Vega, and Arcturus were also shining tonight along side the newly discovered Sirius. Enceladus's eyes drew heavy, the need for sleep rising. She fought against this urge, this was the only time she could talk with her friend.

Tomorrow is another day, sleep calls for you Enceladus.

The moon whispered this into Enceladus's ear, as if it were sitting right next to the equine.

" But, the heavens are so beautiful tonight! I do not want to miss any second of it. " She pleaded, trying to keep her tired eyes open to prove that she was, in which, not sleepy. A soft chuckle echoed within her head at this comment.

The stars will be back tomorrow, there is no need to be upset.

Enceladus shook her head, making a bigger mess of her already messy mane. " You know what I mean. " The mare said stubbornly, lowering her head till it was laying among the untamed grass.

I will be back again tomorrow, as I always do.

" But what if you don't come back. " Enceladus asked with a startled tone, the idea of her one and only friend disappearing too great for the equine to handle.

One is never really gone, my friend. I promise to see you tomorrow, have I ever broken a promise?

" No you have not. " This thought was enough to sooth the rotten idea of never seeing her friend again. Enceladus smiled up at the sky, allowing the drowsiness to flood her mind and body. " I'll see you tomorrow. " She said quietly before shutting her eyes.

" Goodnight. "
