Moons ago, the five warrior clans, ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan were destroyed by a massive storm. A tornado tore through the territories, and a massive forest fire ran through ThunderClan. The cats who were able to escape alive fled. With the remaining cats, StarClan contacted many warriors, even kittypets, to create new clans. If their plan failed, the warrior code may just be lost forever.

Welcome to Rays of New Light. For short, it may be referred to as RoNL or Rays. With the cats you gather, you can create your groups, whether it be a clan, a tribe, or whatever comes to mind. Please remember that the leveling up tasks and limits must be met. This includes no more than one leader or one deputy depending on your level unless you complete the "Expansion Challenge."

Prompt: Leopardblaze has a scar on her muzzle, although not to giant to cause a lot of stares. Back when she was still a young apprentice, she was the main important cat in the ever first wildfire of her new growing clan.
The flames had started at the forest neighbouring the open meadow, and it was quickly spreading. Every cat managed to escape to a giant lake opposite of the fire. She was sadly left behind as she was the last cat to leave but it was for a reason, nobody except her had heard the scared whimpers of a tiny kit, Following the noise she managed to spot the tiny little bundle of fur and snatch the kit from the scruff, head towards the exit but by then fire had caught itself in the camp. A tree was blocking the entrance and a big circle of the flames were all around her, taking a deep breathe, she leaped over the tree bravely.... but her leap was stopped as a branch scratched her muzzle with it’s burning touch of the fire, the kit falling safely on a pile of leaves that were untouched by the flames. Luckily, it wasn’t too bad of a burn or scratch and she managed to escape with the others.

Prompt: Burnstorm has a scar that goes from his chest to his left shoulder, that he got from a border skirmish with a neighbouring clan when he was younger. The border skermish went wrong and got violent very quickly thanks to Burnstorm's hotheadedness and will to protect what is his, resulting in both parties getting horribly injured. Burnstorm is usually friendly, calm and collected, but can get protective and fierce when he needs to be, especially when it is about something he loves. Burnstorm still believes he was in the right, even if he did get too fired up and attacked first. The scar is a constant reminder to him that he will always protect the clan and look out for anyone in it, no matter the consequence.

When Gatorpaw heard whispers of a bobcat being scented dangerously close to camp, he knew that this would his chance to prove himself as a warrior. Sneaking off into the night all alone, he picked up the faint scent of the bobcat. He had never actually seen one, but surely he would be bigger and stronger than it was.
A fight between a half-trained apprentice and a bobcat went about as well as you would expect. Gatorpaw was lucky enough to get out with his life, but he would forever have a reminder of his reckless youth.
